This a lovely period cottage in the St James district of Shaftesbury just off the iconic Gold Hill. There are a dozen cafes and 4 pubs within walking distance as well as supermarkets and independent shops within the picturesque Saxon town.

We love the setting of this charming cottage, close to the historic town centre and perfect for exploring this wonderful part of North Dorset.. First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Bedroom 2: 2 x Bunk (3ft) Beds (Children Only) Bathroom 1: Bath With Shower Over Bath, Toilet Second Floor: Bedroom 3: Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Gas central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Welcome pack. Garden with garden furniture and barbecue. On road parking. No smoking. Please note: There are 12 steps in the garden. This property has a security deposit of &pound;300.. The cottage itself is a is pretty Grade II listed thatched cottage and offers great accommodation for couples or families looking to enjoy everything this wonderful location has to offer. The spacious living room with wood burner is the perfect place to relax after a day&rsquo;s exploring and the large kitchen/dining room is an ideal spot to grab a drink whist cooking.
