The location was excellent for my needs as I was visiting a friend nearby, and it was only a short walk to the bus stop on the main road to get to Harrogate town centre and Knaresborough. My host was very friendly, helpful and informative. Crockery and cutlery were provided in my room so I could bring back fish and chips from the shop at the end of the road. They were very good too. I had an excellent room which was warm and quiet at the back of the house, and I had sole use of the shower room just across the landing from my bedroom

My property is situated on a residential street in a suburb of Harrogate. It is most conveniently placed for access to both trains , which go directly to either Leeds or York and which are both major travel hubs. The property is approximately a 25 minute walk to the centre of town and it is equidistant between Harrogate and Knaresborough. The Yorkshire show ground is really close by which is handy for both visitors to various shows and to exhibitors. Also living in the property are a Cat and a black Labrador. Neither animal goes up to the top floor where the rooms be bathroom are, and both are friendly! The accommodation that is available comprises of two bedrooms and a small shower room that is available exclusively to you when you stay. There are two flights of stairs to reach the accommodation as it is on the top floor of my house.
As well as hosting rooms in my property, I also work as a teacher in a local Special Needs School.
