The property has been recently renovated to a high standard but still retains lots of its old charm features and is stylishly furnished with new furniture, fixtures, and fittings Key Information:- * 1 x large bedroom with king-size bed and lots of storage and hangers, long mirror and desk/dressing table * 1 x bathroom with shower and bath * Super-fast broadband throughout the property * New 42" Smart TV with Virgin package * Dining table for 4  * Dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, iron, ironing board, hairdryer * Fully equipped kitchen for people who like to cook plus large sets of glasses, crockery, and cutlery * Rear courtyard and a pretty community garden 2 doors away * Double glazed, new radiators, Nest heating control * Security alarm and Ring doorbell * Free parking on Durdham Down 24/7. Free parking on street outside evenings and weekends. Paid parking 25 metres way
We now split our time between Portugal and Chelsea House. So it is a home that is properly equipped and thought through. My husband is a carpenter and builder. He has carefully renovated the house, retaining the original features whilst ensuring it was done to a high specification and detailing. I manage all the bookings, communications, and questions. And then we have a great team of people in Bristol who look after the property on a day-to-day basis so there is always someone available if required
Chelsea House is located in one of the oldest and most characterful areas of Bristol. It is characterised by little lanes, alleys, and higgledy-piggledy cottages. Many of the houses were originally miners' cottages. It is a very friendly area and there is a pretty community garden just two doors away. It is a lovely place to chill and enjoy the sunshine. There are three old pubs and one of the last traditional cider houses left in Bristol. At the top of the road is Durdham Downs. Known locally as 'The Downs', it is 400 acres/1.6 sq km of public parkland. There are often events and festivals going on alongside being a beautiful place to take a walk or exercise. Whiteladies Road has everything you need within a couple of minute's walk - a chemist, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. There is also a Saturday farmer's market, Bristol best health food shop, and a nationally recognised Italian deli!
