Fabulous location- genuinely couldn’t have been better for what we needed. They made great use of the space and it was absolutely spotless. Perfect for self catering as they had everything you might need to cook - and really appreciated that they left a few things like oil, salt and pepper which meant we didn’t have to buy them just for one or two days of cooking. Alana and Ian were super kind, made early contact and were generous leaving us a little basket of cookies and being open about check ins etc. goes such a long way. Thank you.

A very rare and surprisingly spacious four bedroom slate workers cottage. Recently fully renovated by ourselves to a very high standard. This house also benefits from heated flooring throughout the ground floor to sooth and warm aching feet after a long hike up the mountains. A stone throw away from the Llyn Padarn lake and The Snowdon railway. ** Please note-If booking over the festive season. Please let us know in advance if you do not wish for Tegfan to be decorated. We will happily take everything away ** Thank You/Diolch Tegfan is in the heart of the six UNESCO World Heritage Sites celebrating the incredible slate landscape of north western Wales (https:// whc.unesco. org/en/list /1633/) ‘ The cottage itself owes it’s existence to the slate quarrying / mining industry of the last 200 years INFORMATION ABOUT THE SPACE- Tegfan has a very spacious open plan lounge and dining area, unique featured fireplaces, Sky freeview / Fire Stick, fibre broadband and plenty of laptop friendly areas should you need. The lounge then follows to the separate kitchen and breakfast bar (also laptop friendly). ABOUT THE HOUSE- The objective of our renovation of the former slateworker’s Cottage was to provide comfort for our guests. We installed underfloor heating to the ground floor to give balanced heating and to ease those feet that might have taken to the fabulous local walks, or even Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa as we call it). We have tried to keep the character of the house but with a modern day twist. BEDROOMS- Tegfan sleeps 6 and has 4 bedrooms in all. 2 x Double rooms 2 x Single rooms. The first double bedroom has a fantastic feature fireplace The second double bedroom is a real treat up a narrow staircase to the loft, where you have breathtaking views of Snowdonia and Llyn Padarn Lake. Both the single bedrooms have views of the mountains BATHROOM- The bathroom has a power shower, LED mirror/shaver point & vanity unit for storage. We also have separate WC room upstai
