The Barn is a beautiful oak framed building that has been in it's present location for a few hundred years. previously it was a thatched cow barn. This was then dismantled and the present building erected about 15 years ago. The Barn has been closed for over a year whilst we lived in it to have our own house refurbed. I'm very excited to be reopening with a freshly decorated beautiful space.
We're a country family who enjoy spending time outdoors. We live next door to The Barn. We're usually on site to help with any queries. Please ask if you or your children would like to meet our very friendly Shetland ponies. I can arrange for a pony petting experience with Pip & Bumble, where you can brush the ponies and give them lots of love!
The Barn is in a very secluded and private location. There is easy access to the A31 but as we are sited in a valley, traffic noise is very minimal. The local wildlife is usually the dominant sound with bird song to be heard most of the year round. In the autumn, you can sometimes hear the booming of the local deer in their mating ritual. As The Barn is in a remote part of the forest, a car is essential.
