The Bulls Head is all about old school done exceptionally well! In the early 18th Century Foolow was a thriving centre for lead mining, and its population and wealth boomed. More people arrived with the diversion of the Sheffield to Buxton turnpike road through Foolow in the late 18th Century, at which time the Bull’s Head was one of five pubs in the village. It’s now the last survivor. Foolow lies within the White Peak area of the Peak District, characterised by gently rolling hills and lush green pastures criss-crossed with limestone walls. There are beautiful walks in every direction from the village. Only a short drive or a peaceful stroll away lies the historic village of Eyam, famous for its inspiring tale of courage during the Plague of 1666, and the picturesque Ashford in-the-Water,

Located in the midst of the Peak district countryside, there is plenty of walking and outdoor activities to take part in. Eyam is just a five minute drive away, which the village is famous for it's history with the Black Plague. The Bull at Foolow provides free WiFi throughout the property.
