The breakfast was unbeatable, Fresh produce. Could of eaten it again. The location was a two minute walk from the train station. And right opposite the beach. With the clock in front of you. Derek and Suzanne are a amazing host. Nothing was to much trouble. Derek was more like a friend then a host. And Suzanne made a beautiful cake for my partners birthday. And responsible for the outstanding breakfast.

The beautiful beach. Some great places to eat. Lost some of its seaside charm. Places we used to have a drink and eat now boarded up. But when the sun is shining, only one place to be. That's Weymouth

Weymouth beach is simply superb.
Weymouth beach is simply superb. Lots to do nearby / within reasonable drive. Town centre has a few closed down shops - but where doesn't these days. Still plenty of shops, charity shops, places to eat, pubs - everything you could want.

We visited quite a few places, would have visited more if we had stayed a bit longer. We were very lucky as there was a Restaraunt close by. Weymouth is okay to get around a lot of places were difficult to get to if you drive a car.

Weymouth for me has always been an interesting and uplifting place, for clean sea water, clean white sandy beach and pleasant interesting cultural architecture. This resort has not been destroyed by over development, retaining its traditional Regency/Victorian architecture. Also it has plenty of shops and cafe/bars to enjoy a rich social interactive time. The centre of Weymouth has all the facilities you need.

I enjoyed walking along the beaches, the gardens, the RSPB site, the marina and the shops. The restaurant I ate in had superb fish. Very easy train journey with the station in the middle of town. Very attractive town. There is a bus service to surrounding places with a bus information kiosk in town.

The area is very beautiful & we stayed in accommodation that was on the esplanade so we had a fantastic panoramic view every day. There were plenty of shops & restaurants within walking distance. The train station was only a short walk to our accommodation.
We visited Rossi's for an ice cream or two! There are plenty of buses to take you around Weymouth & other coastal towns.
Would love to visit again & stay longer & do a boat trip as ours was cancelled to Durdle Door due to the weather.
Beware of the seagulls whilst eating!
The Crown is well located for the centre of Weymouth close to Town bridge. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Room very comfortable and well appointed. Carpark just to rear of hotel, parking at special rate for guests. My go to hotel for short stay in Weymouth.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Service was beyond what you could really have expected. When I look back on Weymouth part of what I'll remember will be this hotel.A great example of why bed and breakfasts can be better than hotels.
I liked the location it was excellent on the Esplanade near the clock tower the owners are friendly it was excellent value for money and nice clean rooms I would use this hotel again when staying in Weymouth and would recommend it to others
Lovely quiet hotel in village just outside Weymouth. Friendly welcome, spotless spacious room (Nothe) with a lovely view of the garden, superb breakfast. Turk's Head pub next door ideal for evening meal.
The hotel is dreadful there is simply nothing to like about it. I would say the location is fine we wanted to be in Weymouth but that's all I can say is positive about it
