Me and my partner stayed there for one night. The host was lovely... Lovely little cottage. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Loved the bathroom. Would definitely go back again. Highly recommended

The Cottage at Barkwith House is a private annexe set in a beautiful period property. With its own private entrance and courtyard, you can enjoy peace and tranquility here. The bedroom of the property is sumptuously decorated, and provides a real haven to rest and relax in. With a comfortable seating area and tastefully decorated, this really is a room to enjoy. Next to the bedroom is the kitchenette with its stunning period features, housing everything you should need for a comfortable stay. With a fridge and microwave, toaster and kettle, it is the perfect space to prepare light meals throughout your stay, and if you prefer to eat in than out are of course welcome to bring back takeaway meals to enjoy. If you needed yet another beautiful space to relax in, then look no further than the stunning bathroom. Sink in to the stunning roll top bath after a long walk in the countryside, and enjoy relaxing in this wonderful space. When the weather permits, you can also enjoy the wonderful private courtyard just outside, with a dining table and chairs and a swing seat, make the most of the outdoors here. There is ample free parking available at the property.
