Awesome location in the country. Quiet room with private entrance and parking. Gracious and friendly hosts. Great breakfast. If we are ever back in that area we will certainly try to stay here.

Susan and Siriol having worked in the hospitality trade for over 30 years and having renovated the property, our home, enjoy hosting visiting guests, Siriol, being Welsh speaking, having been born and lived in the area all his life knows the area well and is a great source of information not always available in tourist guides, wether it’s walking, coastal path routes, history, local interests, he is willing to help.

Property info

The property is surrounded by rolling agricultural fields, full of sheep, and every kind of wildlife, birds of prey, Buzzards, Red Kites and Sparrow Hawks visit regularly. The immense skies are a delight, day or night. Starry nights and the full moons are amazing as are the rainbows. The property, previously farm buildings have been recently restored and refurbished to a very high standard. Your room will delight you as you enter, the ceilings are noticeably high with beams, your en-suite is fresh and inviting. With good wardrobe space and hospitality facilities at hand. You can relax and chill. The outside spaces are generous, with well presented patio leading onto landscape gardens and lawns. Beyond are the green pastures, leading down to the valley below and beyond to view of the hills further afield.

Neighborhood info

The property is on the outskirts of a village with an excellent pub and restaurant. A bus service runs on the hour into the local towns of Lampeter and further afield to Carmarthen and Aberystwyth. Lampeter University town is 3 miles away with further eating establishments and shops. The countryside is on the doorstep, with walks along wonderful country lanes, through wooded areas. National Trust properties within easy reach, as is the Cardigan Bay Coastline.
