Room 3, no. 8 Comfy bed, fantastic large bath, brilliant location. Not sure why reviews bang on about the parking, it's made clear that the central location means that it's not available. We parked a 2 min walk up the hill. There are further spaces on Frees avenue, a 5 min walk. Or if you're ok to pay, the long stay behind Waitrose had plenty of spaces. Not sure why reviews bemoan the lack of cooked breakfast... Again, clear from the Booking terms what's provided. We thought it was very nice. Decent coffee offered. Proper bath sheets too, and generous shampoo/shower gel & conditioner. Character, too. Can't imagine there's a better stay in the town. Thank you!

The rooms are very well done and the location is excellent. The style is more like an Air BnB, with a key in a box to let you in rather than a hotel lobby, yet when I had an issue somebody appeared straight away. For an in-room continental breakfast, it was very good.

well located just at the end of the High Street tucked up a minor road so no noise of the traffic but close enough to walk into the town. We were in Rm 2 @ No 8 and it was stunning. Lovely views over the old roofs out of the bedroom window. Great bath fit for 2 people and a walk in shower. so much space in both rooms. As there is currently no hot breakfast available the owners laid on enough alternatives in the room. Definitely stay again and recommend. Even though parking isn’t available on-site the town car park is a 2 minute walk down the centre of the high street, felt safe leaving car overnight.

Not sure if all the rooms are the same but we stayed in Room 3 and it was simply gorgeous. If you are above average height then watch your head on the beams and door lintels. The room was cute, quaint and lovely. The breakfast was great too. Cereals, pastries, fruit, oats soaked overnight in milk, orange juice, tea, coffee. All you could want. The location is great too, just a few steps to historic Marlborough High Street.
