Spotlessly clean offering comfortable accommodation dating back nearly 150 years, coupled with two friendly hosts, our little cottage is just 2 miles from Lanark and rail and bus links , Situated just a few miles from the beautiful Clyde Valley we are in an ideal spot for getting about central Scotland . we offer free off-street parking. Although on a main road the cottage is set back from the road, overlooking the garden and in a quiet spot. Comprises comfortable compact lounge , two good sized bedrooms to the rear of the cottage fitted with Memory Foam mattresses, Anti-Allergy duvets, pillows & toppers, crisp white 100% Egyptian cotton linen, black out blinds and dimmable touch bedside lamps. Spacious fully fitted kitchen and dining area includes the usual kitchen necessities, microwave, washing machine, fridge , freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, pulley drier, digital personal safe. Bathroom fitted with Mira electric over bath shower, razor point ,heated towel rail, 100% Egyptian Cotton linens Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries. Free Unlimited Wi-Fi. Welcome Pack provided. Small private rear garden with furniture & drying area.
We have been letting our spacious cottage for more than twenty years on and off. Now we are both retired from the NHS our time is taken up with our two boisterous grandchildren whilst Hector also enjoys his passion for racing. Retirement brings with it the time to ensure we can be on hand for our guests to guarantee they have a truly enjoyable holiday staying in our little cottage. We will do our very best to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are always happy at any time to help with any questions or help plan itineraries or make restaurant reservations for you. We promise you privacy during your stay with us whilst knowing if you should need us we are here to assist at any time.
Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling are within an hour from the cottage and locally Biggar just 20 minutes away. We are just two miles away from the stunning New Lanark and Falls of Clyde Conservations areas and World Heritage site. We have a number of very good restaurants locally to suits all tastes. Further afield the cities offer a huge choice catering for all nationalities and cuisines. Travelling to Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling takes approximately one hour .There are some excellent Museums and Art Galleries in Glasgow whilst Edinburgh hosts the annual Edinburgh Festival and Tattoo.
