The Little House on The Priory is nestled in the picturesque Welsh border village of Skenfrith, just 15 minutes from Abergavenny, Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. The Little House sits just beside our home (though has it’s own driveway and entrance) so we’re not too far away if ever there is a problem. Within walking distance is the beautiful river Monnow, perfect for a dip on a warm summer day, a historic castle and beautiful church. The Little House is a strictly No Smoking property.

Hello, I'm Joby my family and I live in Skenfrith, Wales, having moved back to the UK from Sydney. We’re often available as live in the main house next door. On days where we’re not around to welcome guests we use a lock box beside the property.

Skenfrith is a village full of character, set in beautiful Welsh countryside, complete with an ancient Church, the remains of a Norman castle and The Bell, a lovely country restaurant. The Bell has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and has won numerous awards, most recently one from Conde Nast Traveller Magazine. The Monnow River is just a short walk from The Little House and is perfect for river swimming and is extremely popular in the summer with lots of people travelling to the area to swim and bath. Known as The Gateway to Wales and renowned for it’s excellent food, nearby Abergavenny boasts many excellent restaurants and cafes, including The Gaff, The Walnut Tree, The Angel Hotel and The Chapel Cafe. Not forgetting the historic city of Hereford and the lovely market towns of Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. Skenfrith is perfectly placed to enjoy all the area has to offer. Bring a car to make the most of the area, though ample places to go walking near by.
