Elm Farm fell into disrepair until we took the project on in 2011. Anything that was damaged / rotten was replaced with like for like materials, Elm Farm is essentially a new build listed building! but still retaining the original charm and character when it was first constructed Circa 1730 by the Clay Family of Claycross. The property was originally over 5500sqft, it is now two separate dwellings - The Manor and The Lodge (where you'll be staying), each with their own unique charm and characteristics.
Hi I have a love of travelling, sailing, outdoor exploring and meeting new people and sharing stories of places visited. We hope you'll love The Lodge as much as what we do.
Elm Farm is nested in the centre of the village of North Wingfield, historically a mining village. Today it's a residential village with shops, walks and great access to many tourist attractions.
