Sweetcombe Cottage Holidays is a locally based self-catering agency focusing on East Devon. Established over 35 years ago with just a handful of cottages, the company has grown to the point where we now successfully market a wide variety of properties throughout the region. From the start we were determined to build up a reputation for offering only the best of properties. The company has grown, but everyone involved still holds true to the combination of commitment and professionalism that is the foundation of the company's success. Family run to this day, we are still able to offer that personal service which sadly in today's ever increasing pace of life can sorely fall by the wayside.

The Nook is a first floor apartment for two, and is an ideal base for exploring Sidmouth and the many surrounding towns and villages. The buses stop close by so a car is not essential. The Nook is within a short 2-minute level walk of the beach and, shops. The cricket club, tennis courts, bowls, croquet and award-winning gardens are nearby. There are water sports such as kayaking and paddle boarding available in the summer, fabulous coastal walks along the famous Jurassic coast offer stunning views at any time of the year. Sidmouth has a wealth of lovely individual shops, restaurants and cafes where you will receive a warm welcome. There is level, easy access via the lift from the parking area to the first floor where there is level access to the apartment as soon as you step out of the lift. The entrance hall leads into a sitting room with a dining area for two guests. There is a well-equipped modern fitted kitchen. Bedroom: Good size bedroom with a super king size bed that can be made into two singles on request, wardrobe and a dressing table Bathroom: Modern, fully tiled bathroom with a walk in shower, hand basin and WC. Private secure parking space for one car.

Sidmouth has an abundance of independent shops, whilst the esplanade overlooks the picturesque and tranquil beach. Towards the western end of the promenade an area of sand is uncovered at low tide, along with rock pools perfect for adventures with the kids. A short walk around the pathway under the red sandstone cliffs you can find Jacobs Ladder which offers a mile of sandy beach at low tide and colourful beach huts. Climb up Jacobs Ladder to find Connaught Gardens, here there is the most wonderful café offering the biggest homemade cakes you have ever seen! Each Sunday evening throughout the summer you can sit and watch the Sidmouth Town Band play
