The Old Cow House consists of an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area, slipper bath, handheld shower and basin. Wood burner. There is one king-size bedroom with Smart TV, and sitting area, along with a cloakroom. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars. Within 5.8 miles you will find a shop and within 0.9 miles, a pub and please note that this is a non-smoking property. One well behaved pet welcome. WiFi, fuel, starter pack for wood burner, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A travel cot and highchair are also available. The Old Cow House is a wonderful escape for a couple in Shropshire. Note: There are some low beams and a step into the property, please take care. Note: The owner has chickens and ducks which wander freely.

The village of Ditton Priors nestles at the foot of the Brown Clee, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to the town of Bridgnorth. This picturesque village is steeped in history from Anglo-Saxon roots to its mention in the Doomsday Book. Today the village provides a village store, post office, garage, renowned butcher and a good pub. Bridgnorth is only 10.5 miles away, where you will find a market town with it’s winding streets, comprising of the High Town and the Low Town, connected by Britain’s oldest and steepest inland cliff railway, or for the energetic a flight of connecting steps which boasts ‘The Little Theatre on The Steps’. The town offers a popular street market every Saturday, lovely riverside walks on the River Severn and castle ruins, which lean at a greater angle than the Leaning Tower of Pisa! There are a number of attractions in the area including The Severn Valley Railway which runs between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, the Iron Bridge Gorge with its 10 museums, the Aerospace museum at RAF Cosford, the historic town of Ludlow with its Norman Castle, medieval streets and listed buildings as well as the popular town of Shrewsbury which is just 22 miles away.
