Beautiful Stone Cottage in the village of Newmillerdam and just 200M from Newmillerdam country park. Ideally situated for Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth a Gallery.A true home from home, cosy lounge with Feature Fireplace. Unlimited Free Wi-Fi, Free View TV and a selection of DVD'S and Books. The Kitchen is fully functional and has everything required to make your stay comfortable, including Washing Machine, Microwave, Fridge , Toaster, Cutlery etc.. Main bedroom, double bed with top quality bedding and pillows with high thread count, double wardrobes with plenty of hanging space, chest of drawers and full length mirror and hair dryer. This bedroom also has its own shower room. Bedroom 2, single bed, if four guests we can supply a single folding guest bed.Plenty of hanging space and full length mirror. Bathroom, jacuzzi Corner Bath- pedestal wash basin and WC. Toiletries and Towels Included. If you are staying for longer than two consecutive nights, we will provide a change of towels. You'll receive a complimentary welcome pack on arrival including a continental breakfast, tea,coffee,milk and Fresh Orange Juice. Sorry No Pets and Strictly No Smoking.
Newmillerdam is considered to be Wakefield's premiere conservation village. At the centre of the village is the lake and country park, which is also a local nature reserve. The woodlands cover approximately 750 Acres, ideal for hiking and mountain biking, alternatively a walk around the lake using footpath is just 1 mile. Within the village there are 2 pubs, plus a further gastro pub and two restaurants. Bretton Hall Sculpture Park, 3 miles. life size sculptures and superb visitor centre, makes for a great day our for all the family. The award Winning Hepworth Gallery 3 miles. Several golf courses nearby and windsurfing and sailing at Pugneys Country Park, which is just 1 mile from the cottage.
