Boasting a prominent oriel window to the front and a short clock tower with an ogee-shaped roof, this magnificent building has been lovingly transformed into a large five-bedroom house, and yet retains many period features to include a stained-glass window, grand staircase, and many other period features.

This Former Town Hall is located on the corner of St Peter’s Road and Church Street, set within the conservation area for Sheringham and dates back to 1901 (the year Sheringham became a town with the creation of Sheringham Urban District Council). They place early humans here in Norfolk some 350,000 years earlier than had been thought, at over 800,000 years ago.
