Lovely secluded hotel and lovely breakfast on the outskirts but easily commute to all areas very quickly
Very quiet and my dog also enjoyed his stay

Fantastic location, extremely relaxing, helpful and friendly staff, tasty breakfast.
A haven of peace and tranquillity, this traditional English country house lies in a unique rural setting, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a 60 acre lake, yet only 12 miles from historic Chester.

Great location, was a very much loved property and it was very welcoming. Host was welcoming and gave a lot of finishing touches to make you feel welcome, including fresh products on Arrival. Would remains the blue plant aquarium around 15 minute drive away. It’s in the middle of most places. We visited the farmers arms for a few drinks and was a nice quiet place and nice beer garden.

Kelsall is a beautiful village, but the hotel provided inadequate standard of food.
There was another hotel quite near and we ended up having our evening meal there for 2 evenings out of 3.
The hotel needs to do something about the poor cooking at the Royal Oak Hotel.
We recommend visiting the Anderson Boat Lift in Northwich. Had a wonderful time sailing down the river.

Here for Folk Festival.
Here for Folk Festival. Pretty village with good number of shops. Frequent buses going through the village. Couple of pubs and eating places, particularly "The Morris Dancer" in the centre of the village.

Walked down to a lovely little coffee shop called "Citrus'. Everyone was especially nice and sitting in there, its lovely to see how everyone knows each other in the village. Coffee is fantastic quality and the smoothie I had was delicious
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful that they managed to let us check in earlier than usual to allow us to deposit belongings before going to a wedding. Parking was in a good sized car park at the rear of the hotel.
We asked for two rooms next door to each other and they provided these for us.
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful!
We stayed in a lovely spacious room with a big bathroom! Staff were also all very friendly. Unable to comment on much else as we stayed for 1 night after a wedding at Nunsmere Hall (10 mins away from hotel) and didn't get breakfast the next day. Easy to get to and there was more than enough parking!
Very friendly staff & lovely hotel. I wanted a quiet night away, I got just that. The bar & restaurant area is separate so you can have quiet time on your own or in the bar area with people. The food was so good and homemade. The room was very clean and comfortable.
I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant served lovely food and the hotel really does look amazing. A real gem of a find
