The B&B is inside a traditional pub filled with welcoming staff and warmhearted customers. Typical English breakfast with hot teas. Secure private car park just in its back yard. Central location in the small town of Wellington, but not so noisy at all. I even got a chance to refill my car at a price of 144p/L - what a bargain at this high inflation era!

The landlord was very welcoming and informative about the pub. It is in the centre of Wellington and my car was parked in a secure car park. The bedroom was in character with the building but it had an up to date shower which was powerful and lovely hot water. Lovely large soft towels in the room and plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits. There was a live band who played until 2345 pm but I was warned they would be playing. Make sure you are hungry for the breakfast - 2 bacon rashers, 1 sausage, egg, fried bread, tomato, baked beans and fried potatoes.

Dave the landlord was extremely nice,staff are friendly with good manners. Food was superb and we both had the rump steak meals. Room was massive, clean and plenty of tea, coffee etc. Nothing was to much hassle. Locals were friendly and beer and wine choice was excellent. Can't wait to stay again when we travel through. Nice genuinely happy proper pub with good people.

Everything you want from a room comfortable bed quiet and roomy with good clean shower and bathroom right in the centre of Wellington (parking at rear of pub) with cooked breakfast served in pub bar with really friendly landlord Downside slightly quirky furniture in room, on the second floor up 2 flights of stairs
