Overlooking the River Wye, where it flows into the gorge at Symonds Yat East, The Weir House provides the perfect base for getting back to nature in this truly beautiful part of the country. Renovated to a high standard with a stylish Scandi finish, this four bedroom house set over three floors is a delight to come home to at the end of the day. With the Wye Valley on your doorstep on the egde of the Forest of Dean, the options of activities here are endless. From walking to cycling, paddling to caving, your day can be as adventurous or as relaxing as you’d like it to be. Unfortunately, this property does not permit hen and stag parties, party groups, or all adult groups under the age of 25. This property is ideal for family groups. The Weir House is one of our pet-free properties and therefore dogs and other pets are not permitted. The terrace has gated access but children should be supervised at all times as this leads to a lane used by cars and the River Wye below.

The stunning Wye Valley is a gateway to relatively untouched nature. Walks along the river or hikes uphill to Yat Rock reward you with beautiful views. It is one of the best spots to see Peregrine Falcons in the country. From the doorstep of The Weir House you can follow circular walking routes across Biblins Bridge and in summer cross the river using the hand-pulled ferry. Watersports are available down the lane and you are next door to The Saracens Head for delicious meals out.
