The house is very big, with super big rooms, with high ceilings and a lot of space for the 12 guests. The pictures don’t do the house justice. The hidden room was a bonus. The jacuzzi and the sauna were also lovely extra. There is enough space for a group without feeling cramed. The house is not far from the local pub, local coop and takeaways places in town so very convenient. It’s also a nice place to take a walk. Fabulous! Would book here again, no doubt!

You will have access to a garden and a private stretch of river, fishing rights are included (licence required). The bedrooms are laid out as follows: Top Floor - 2 bedrooms, with one ensuite, best for a family as you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other - One double bed, 2 singles First Floor - Double bedroom, ensuite - Double bedroom, ensuite - Double bedroom, with bunk beds too Basement - Bedroom with 2 bunk beds - this one is downstairs from the nearest toilet Back of house - Double bedroom with ensuite.
The properties have been converted or modernised to the highest of standards - and in sympathy with the history of the buildings. There is a tranquil atmosphere, with a nearby river, and fields and woodlands surrounding the properties. Beautiful country house, river views, large gardens. Yorkshire Dales on doorstep, Lake District nearby. The property is set 13 acres with hundreds of meters of private river frontage, guests are free to explore it all. There is a beautiful wild meadow, an "edible" foraging walk, and paddocks to play in. Fishing rights are included, making it a perfect place to try some fishing (note, a rod licence is required, available online or from the post office).
