Silviya and her team were so welcoming, friendly, smiley and kind. They went the extra mile- meeting us when we checked in to give our children Easter eggs. The tea, coffee, and toiletries were a lovely touch and much appreciated. Silviya sent lovely messages offering any help she could such as where to eat or visit and if anything was missing from the apartment. As well as a goodbye message. Again- a touch that not all hosts do 😀 The location was perfect for us, Our girls (2,7 and 14 years) loved watching the trains. We travelled around each day and was lovely to come back to the accommodation which was comfortable and warm with everything we needed. There is a local park, a Morrisons and a pub. And a short drive to lots of stunning scenery. We particularly loved Loch Leven (about an hour away) where we got a boat over to the Leven Castle where Mary Queen of Scott's was imprisoned and New Lanark with the Falls of Clyde.

Located in a small, picturesque Scottish village with a historic rail station "Tinto View Apartment" is beautiful and bright 2-bedroom apartment with double beds and additional sofa bed in the living room. Spectacular views of Tito Hill from the living room, especially beautiful on sunny days. Other side of the property - view towards the historic Carstairs Junction Rail Station. The property does have own fully-equipped kitchen with appliances, bathroom with shower and own toilet. Public EV Charging station 3 minutes walk from the property, Public playground 2 min walk from the property. Local Londis shop at walking distance. Bus and rail at your door step with morning trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh and other local towns. Guests can make use of various appliances providing comfort and giving you the feeling of a "Home away from home" Ideal for tourism, hiking, sightseeing, business trips or family getaways. Boasting a flat TV and a DVD player, the apartment has wide selections of movies to enjoy on a cinema night during your holiday. Towels, bed linen and complimentary toiletries are provided.

River Clyde is a short 10 min walk from the property - perfect for fishing, walking or enjoying a quiet picnic in the countryside. Short 10 minutes drive by car from Carstairs Junction is the town of Lanark, providing access to a broad range of local shops, supermarkets, pubs & cafès and restaurants, a leisure centre and a great selection of sports and recreational facilities including the Lanark Golf Club as well as many famous Clyde Valley garden centres, offering a huge range of shopping and physical activities. Our apartment are also at a convenient location to explore NEW Lanark and the beautiful Falls of Clyde, attracting visitors from the local area and beyond as it is internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What’s more, in the area are also the beautiful Castlebank Park, Lanark Loch and the area famous Tinto Hill, offering excellent walks, incredible nature sights and hiking opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts!
