Welcome to Tytanglwyst Farm Holiday Cottages, situated just 3 miles from the South Wales Heritage Coast and an hour from the stunning Brecon Beacons. The farm is midway between Cardiff and Swansea and close to the seaside town of Porthcawl. The Granary is one of four holiday cottages: an historic barn conversion with plenty of character and charm, from the whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and exposed beams to the cosy wood burning fire. You will find a welcoming open plan living, kitchen and dining room with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The Granary has one double bedroom en suite on the ground floor. The first floor has another double bedroom , twin bedroom and small bathroom. A second stone stairs leads directly into a small seating area with sofa bed and from here you can access the gallery overlooking the living area. The Granary has a patio and lawn area with barbecue and table and chairs for 8. We have good mobile signal and Wi fi. Guests are welcome to visit our family dairy farm, see the milking and help feed the young claves. Enjoy our award winning dairy products during your stay. Visit our stables and enjoy walks in the ancient woodland.
John, Liz and all the Lougher Family have enjoyed welcoming guests from all over the world to Tytanglwyst Farm for the last twenty years. We enjoy sharing our farm and would love to introduce you to this beautiful part of South Wales.
Staying at The Granary at Tytanglwyst Farm will give you the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful coastline, green valleys, ancient castles, country parks, nature reserves, historic villages and towns. Cardiff, The capital city of Wales has much to offer with its museums, world famous rugby stadium, Cardiff Bay and wonderful shopping opportunities. Active guests will find championships golf courses, cycle routes, Air Soft, go karting, Horse riding on the beach and a wide variety of activities on offer. Ask us for information. There is so much to see and do locally with some wonderful places to discover excellent food and drink.
