We have an easy access policy where you can check-in and check-out without having to meet anyone, which we have found to be very popular. We have an on-site manager should you need to have anything dealt with while you are staying with us. Please see our guest reviews and the great positive comments about both the owner and the manager.

Property info

Wessex Guest House is the only modern centrally located guest house in Basingstoke, within walking distance of the town centre and the train station. With key box entry you can check-in any time, however we do have an on-site manager who is happy to help with anything during your stay with us. Free ample parking, free wifi, very clean modern décor, microwave, toaster, kettle, crockery and cutlery are provided in all rooms as standard. We also offer complimentary baskets with an alternative to breakfast which include muffins, biscuits, crisps, etc. Each room also has tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh milk, bottled water, butter, jam and marmite. With our prices nearly half the cost of some of the larger chain hotels locally, we are extremely busy due to our very high standards which you will dee reflected in our guest reviews. This is really is the most comfortable and affordable place to stay in Basingstoke. We hope to see you soon.

Neighborhood info

Basingstoke is lacking in hotels/guest houses etc. and therefore the area commands quite a higher price to other towns and cities in the area, be sure to book with us where you will find us in central Basingstoke, but also within 2 minutes drive to both Junction 6 and 7 of the M3. We are the most economical hotel option locally without compromising standards, quality and cleanliness.
