PROPERTY LICENSE NUMBER AS-00346-P A one-bedroom annexed Accommodation at St. Cyrus, Montrose, Angus, Scotland. Direct Sea & beach views. Opened August 2023............ Located within St Cyrus National Nature reserve, with direct access to beach and incredible sea views. Set on the east coast of Scotland, near Aberdeen, Dundee, Stonehaven, Inverbervie, Johnshaven, Gourdon, Laurencekirk and Banchory. Woodston Bothy, at Woodston Fishing Station, a 1-bedroomed sea view annex compromising of 1 bedroom with ensuite with aquariums. separate adjacent kitchen/dining/living area and observatory to the bedroom. Separate laundry room, drying room for hiking, fishing, shooting and outdoor seating areas with both sea and nature reserve views. The local pub and restaurant including the local shop is either approximately 15 minutes' walk over the clifftop or approximately a 3-minute drive............Varying takeaway deliveries are available directly to your holiday home and menus are provided. Both Asda and Tesco will also deliver for longer stays if required. Close to the Whiskey trail, Dunnottar Castle, Glamis Castle and much more. Local specialised and award winning restaurants including steak and fish or Chinese / Indian and so forth are all available locally within 10 minutes drive. We are firearm holders and therefore a cabinet is available for gun storage......... Relax and enjoy the natural beautiful settings, take a stroll down the historic donkey path, direct to the beach, used in past times by the salmon fishermen, or take a drive to one of Scotland’s treasured local castles, or just sit back and watch the dolphins in St. Cyrus beach bay from the windows, garden or patio. Please note that the beach access is not really suitable for anyone with disabilities. We look forward to welcoming you to Woodston Fishing Station soon.
We have welcomed hundreds of guests over the past years from all over the world and we look forward to welcoming you here to enjoy our little piece of paradise. This is our latest annexed room to the main property.
Direct access to St Cyrus beach is right on your door step via the historical donkey path. Walking is available directly from the property throughout the nature reserve and to the local village. Dolphin watching recommended from the property. Historic landmarks and castles available in Montrose is The House of Dunn, the mystical Dunnottar Castle towards Stonehaven and a little further afield is the stunning castle of Glamis. Various old harbour villages in the local vicinity.
