Pros The city has beautiful buildings and streets, showcasing a fascinating blend of old and modern architecture. Most of the historic buildings have been preserved rather than destroyed, giving the city an authentic and atmospheric charm. There are many beautiful sightseeing spots, lovely parks (especially Mtatsminda Park), cozy cafés serving delicious Georgian food, and a variety of shops for good shopping. Cons The city is quite dirty, with a lot of rubbish on the streets. The service and attitude of people can be disappointing — many locals seem unfriendly toward tourists. 3 days (including a day trip out) is perfect. Staying around Freedom Square is the most popular area - the Metro here is one stop to Avlabari which is where most tours depart from. If you’re an animal enthusiast, don’t bother going to Tbilisi Zoo - it’s very run down. The National Museum just off Freedom Square has a very interesting section on the Russian Occupation. 2 days are good for tblisi.
2 days are good for tblisi. If you are keen for a nightlife, you can stay for 3 days. Casinos and bars are mostly full on weekends. There's not much to do during the day except for Chronicles of Georgia, Mtsminda park.. Narikala fort was closed when we visited. You can stroll around the street on Meidan bazaar. It is very happening and has restaurants on the small streets as well. Even botanical garden and bridge of peace is at a walkable distance from here.
