Our family home, is a newly restored dome-house in the center of Fira. With an indoor area of 60 square meters, along with two spacious yards in the front and back, is capable of accommodating comfortably up to five persons. The restoration preserved the authenticity and the typical Santorinian style and architecture, in order to give the opportunity to its visitors to experience the past, through modern commodities. Our home aims to be a glance to a timeless past.

Our neighborhood is located at the side of the busy district and crowded roads, providing a peaceful resting place after an exciting day, that’s why it shelters a great number of hotels and guest houses. Built with an authentic Santorinian style and architecture, it forms an exemplary corner of traditional houses and local life style. The houses are built with sustainability, ecological awareness and local customs in mind, with domes to preserve the temperature and sustain earthquakes, cisterns to collect the rain water and yards in the front and the back, to provide shelter from the sun all day long, coming only from natural shading. The location of our home is a key feature to our accommodation and one of the main reasons to pay us a visit. You will be a breath away from the main square and the caldera, the bus, taxi and touristic buses’ station, the cable car and a spacious parking lot. Our home is situated on the side of the main square of Fira and a large convenient parking area (1 minute walking from our house). The distances to the transportation stations are accordingly, 5 minutes’ walking to the central bus station, central taxi station and central touristic.
