Welcome to our charming traditional house in the village of "Old Port Fira." This two-storey house, nestled beneath the Caldera, has been tastefully renovated in 2023 to accommodate 4-5 guests. With two double beds, two bathrooms, and a comfortable couch, our house offers a cozy retreat. You'll appreciate the high, arched ceilings and internal loft, adding to the unique atmosphere. Enjoy the separate entrance, small 15sqm patio, and the view of the lively street with tourists and donkeys. It's an ideal choice for runners and those who prefer a traditional ambiance with modern comforts. Cable car until 23:00, or home by foot in a downhill path in 15‘ as preferred The apartment is equipped with its own kitchenette that includes a Nespresso coffee machine, milk maker, toaster, water boiler, filter coffee machine, refrigerator, and a single induction stove. We provide complimentary bedsheets, linens, shampoo, and toiletries, along with free WiFi. Although we don't offer room service, you'll find everything you need to prepare your own breakfast. If you prefer dining out, there's a traditional cafe right next door and a juice bar just 20 meters away. Within a short 50-meter walk, you'll find fish taverns, souvlaki restaurants, all boasting stunning views of the sea, volcano, and sunset, as well as an ice cream bar and souvenir shops. Our village serves as the starting point for tourists visiting the island from cruise ships, with day cruises departing from the Marina of Old Port Fira, a mere 25 meters away from us. Additionally, the donkeys pick up tourists from our street, which may result in some noise between 8:00 and 12:00. However, the charming scenery evokes a bygone era and offers a unique experience. After 16:00, when the streets become quiet, you'll be rewarded with peacefulness, a delightful seaside walk, breathtaking views of the volcano, friendly greetings from the neighbors, and a convenient 3-minute cable car ride to Fira and back. Located 22meters from the water, with stunning view to the volcano and old port, in a 17th Century Fishermans Village, the property is a fresh renovated house of 107sqm, comprising of two separate apartments, with two separate entrances, arched ceilings, each with two double beds in four stereys, so 4 double beds in total, 3 bathrooms with shower, two kitchenettes, offering a quiet and comfortable stay 1. Cable Car from Fira, the capital of Santorini. The ride lasts 2minutes and during summer it operates from 7.30 to 23.00 2. The stairs path from the Old Port to Fira. Accessible 24/7 all year. 3. Ferry from the main port, Athinio. If you arrive by boat from Piraeus, you can catch the local boat on Tuesdays and Fridays at noon. You will arrive to the old port in 10minutes. Then, you will only need to walk about 22meters from the ferry to the house. 4. Speedboat or Sea Taxi 5. There is a daily speedboat to Oia from the old port. Last trip at 15.00 6. There are daily cruises to the Volcano, Thirasia, Oia, the Hot Springs, with traditional Kaiki-boats. All of the cruises start at the old port, 1min walk from where you will live!

Wake up in a village of the 1960’s, where fishermen greet you, traditional kaiki boats will take you to the volcano, Thirasia island, the hot springs or Oia for a day trip, donkeys will bring you up to the main town, Fira, in 10’ and the cable car is the only thing which reminds you of today’s world, taking you to the main town Fira in a 2minutes ride. The way to access the town of Santorini, Fira, is either by foot, about 20min walk up the stairs, or by donkey, 10min with a cost of 10euros, or by cable car, 2min with a cost of 6euros. Donkeys are available only until 6pm and the cablecar 6am to 23hrs. The stairs are always accessible. Each apartment has its own fully equipped kitchenette. Coffee Machine (Nespresso) and Milk Maker, Toaster, Water Boiler, Fliter Coffee Machine, refrigerator and a single induction stove are at your disposal. Bedsheets, Linens shampoo and toiletries are provided free of charge and wifi is also included in the price. We do not offer room service, but you will find everything you need to prepare your own breakfast. The traditional cafe right next door and the juice bar 20meters away offer a variety of options for you. There are also fish taverns in the village, souvlaki, restaurants, all with sea, volcano and sunset view, ice cream bar and souvenir shops, all within 50 meters walk. The village is the starting point for tourists visiting the island from the cruise ships, the day cruises start from the Marina of Old Port Fira, 25meters from us, and the donkeys pick up the tourists from our street. So please expect some noise 8:00-12:00 , but the scenery is something that comes right from last century and has little to do with today. After 16:00, when the streets go empty, you will be rewarded by the quiet, the sea and volcano view, the greetings from the neighbors, the 3' ride by cable car to Fira and back and this cyrcular travel in time.
