The man-made and named village of CRETAN PNOE, consists of the 3 TETHYS maisonettes, the mother of Achilles in Greek mythology and welcomes you to a Cretan haven of calm, coziness and fine traditional architecture. THETYS 2 is about 65m2 on 2 floors that were carefully designed by our in-house Cretan interior designers to incorporate details of traditional architecture of the island. The ground floor was artistically designed to reflect traditional stone and plaster Cretan designs and is comprised of a living room / kitchen accentuated by a large stone arch, with sofa niche and coffee table, a wall long sofa-bench and round dining table as well as a small but fully equipped kitchenette, with a ceramic electric stove, electric kettle and drip coffee-machine.  After passing an archway from the kitchen, you will find an open-space upper floor with 2 bedrooms at the top of the wooden staircase with side-landing and seat. One room offers a double bed, a standing psyche mirror, a master en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. A second room has a single bed with wooden shelving and clothes rack, thoughtfully designed and placed along a tall column. Both rooms have access to the same balcony views both to the mountains on one side and to the sea on the other. In order to respect the traditional character of the setting, you will purposefully not find a television in our apartment.  For the pleasure of our guests, there is a lovely courtyard with long stone benches and matching wooden table as well as plants in traditional terracotta amphoras - shared with the other 2 units on site. There is a for-charge access to a washing machine and dryer on site shared by the 3 TETHYS units. Please inform us if you need to use them.
