Zadar is a very nice city on the Adriatic sea with all the facilities you need. The old town is really marvelous. We will surely returm to Zadar and apartments Basioli. We were very satisfied with the apartment and the friendly and helpfull owners.

Brilliant city, we only had a few days and wished we had longer. I’d say you need a car to get around but because we didn’t need to use public transport I can’t really comment on how good it is. Loads to see and do, went with a young family and they loved the sea organs!

Zadar is such a gem, I cannot recommend this city enough. I visited in early April and the weather was fantastic but there were not many tourists so that was a positive. All shopkeepers, waiters, and people in hospitality/tourism I spoke with were all so friendly. Zadar is an ancient city interesting for all kinds of tourists during the whole year. It offers beautiful historical spots in the old town and beautiful beaches nearby. Zadar is a beautiful city. There is so much to see and enjoy. Sunsets were breathtaking. So many lovely cafes, bars & restaurants & all very reasonably priced. The apartment was perfect, spacious and very well equipped. For anyone who wants to self cater, there is a more than an adequate supply of pots, pans, crockery and other cooking & serving utensils. Furnishings are very comfortable. The apartment is a 15-20 minute walk from the Old Town. I found it to be a safe & easy walk. It was nice, after a day sightseeing, to return to a quiet residential area. A bit like a home away from home. The owners were there to greet me when I arrived and they were very welcoming and helpful. I would be very happy to return to Stunning apartment and to recommend it to family & friends.

She arranged a tour to Plitviče National Park where a shuttle picked me up from the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding and delicious! The room was simple but equipped with air conditioning which was a life saver after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. The rooms are about 25 minutes walking to get to the old city or a cheap Uber ride. Overall, fantastic experience!KimGermany

The owner is really nice and gave us an upgrade of the room we initially booked and also some useful travel advice. We also got to meet Blinks, the very cute dog that "guards" the property. It is true that you have to walk about 30 min, or 15 min+cheap boat to get to the city center, but the hotel area is far more quiet and relaxing.
