The staff is very kind. My husband had ear infection and the owner, Nyoman brought us thermometer. Then I also fell sick from dengue fever and they helped me to find a doctor. They were also flexible when we had to cancel our last night due to these issues.

The miracle in the Pinokkio story, of bringing a wooden structure to life, has been re-enacted by the crew of Pinokkio b&b. The Javan style cabins are decorated with a real eye for detail. Also expect homemade bread, jams, own import ingredients from Italy and amazing dishes from chef and owner Nyoman. This was my last accommodation of a 3-month trip and without a doubt my favourite.

Nyoman and the team make you feel at home. They provide all the support you need ranging from helping you plan your day, making delicious cappuccinos, serving home-made breakfasts with fresh fruits, and taking a taxi or having a driver for the full day. The location is great for being close to GWK and many beaches. The room is air-conditioned. You will enjoy hearing the sound of birds early in the morning -- a completely different experience than staying in a luxury hotel.

I would have given a score of 20 if that was possible! The host, Nyoman, is nothing but awesome. With a deep knowledge in both Bali and Italy, Nyoman brings so much attention to detail to this Balinese gem with various Italian flavors. A daily breakfast is often served with pastries/roti/pancakes based on what Nyoman makes the previous day. I loved the freshly made papaya juice, also the scrumptious salami bun with chilly sauce, amongst many other options. A simple dinner staying in is also a great choice after a beach day. I enjoyed those yummy carbonara, focaccia, also grilled chicken shiitake mushroom rolls. With the host’s passion to bring a wonderful Bali experience to her guests, I can’t recommend highly enough this stay… Also already can’t wait to come back to see Pino and India - the adorable pets!

Nyoman and her team are warm, welcoming and make you feel at home. Breakfast was simply outstanding - made from local, organic, in season ingredients. I love the location of the property, being away from the overcrowded hotels and busy streets, there is a lovely village vibe which makes your stay an authentic Balinese experience. Thank you to Nyoman for being an open, caring and beautiful person - I won't forget my stay here!

Location is quiet and not crowded, but accessibility is good, and close to raya uluwatu and a lot of eating places in uluwatu, ungasan and even nusa dua. The wooden villa is done nicely, details like dimmer lights, higher quality sanitary fixtures, etc. Owner/host really put in a lot of efforts and attention and it shows.
