Loved all the sites that I visited (Klingking beach, Atuh Beah, Guri Puti cave, Angel billabong, peguyangan, tembeling forest, crystal bay beach, broken beach) - some areas seemed a bit dangerous, but with the right shoes you should be okay. They were definitely worth the trek anyhow.
Spent one morning snorkelling, was taken to Manta Bay and swam with a Manta ray! It was awesome!
Be careful when riding a motorbike, roads are not always the best (rocky) and very hilly with steep inclines and declines. But the landscape is totally worth it.
I ate mostly in Warungs, food is delicious and cheap. My cheapest meal was a Nasi Goreng for 15k overlooking the sea.
There is no nightlife (partying or clubs). There are night markets to grab some yummy food for real cheap!
A day trip to Lembongan cost ~50k on a public boat, it is interesting to see how different the two islands are.
If you are looking for a place that has not lost its appeal to tourism, Nusa Penida is the place to be.
