A truly lovely city without the chaos of Jaipur or Delhi. It felt like an oasis. The city centre is very exciting - and attractive. The sunset boat ride is a must, also the puppet show at the museum, and the folk dancing at the city palace.

I had a room with a view of the City Palace. Everything was working, good need and good got water. Room pretty. I took the boat ride organized by the hotel which was very nice. The restaurant is one of the most romantic I have seen - in beautiful garden by the lake with full view of all of Udaipur. I ended up eating there three times! Overall one of the best hotel experiences I had in a long time especially for the value.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got upgraded to a suite which was excellent and had a great view of Lake Palace. They have good carts outside the hotel to take you to the main gate of the old town or city palace. Overall the stay was fabulous! They have heritage walk in the hotel at 5 pm, which we really wanted to join but didn’t have the time too. And did I mention the view from the hotel and our room - incredible!!

Friendly, clean, scenic inside and out. The hotel is literally a wing of the historic city palace dating from the british times. Stylishly set around a small pool for morning swim and high above the bustle of the street. There’s excellent safe food from the restaurant range of international and Indian.
