Excellent place! We came from the North where hotels are nowhere near as nice. These people are so hospital, they make delicious breakfast and dinner, and the room is great. It's just a 30 second walk to the beach too. The dad even got coconuts for us too. Definitely recommended.

This place is amazing! We had the whole place to ourselves, 3 AC, ensuite bedrooms, a living room area, kitchen, amazing balcony, garden and just 2 mins walk from the beach.
There is a small shop a few seconds away for essentials but it's quiet and private and tropical. The host is so kind and helpful and we had all the help and advice we needed. I'd recommend to anyone!!

Very small sleepy village perfect for a remote escape.
Very small sleepy village perfect for a remote escape. Unspoiled beach and nature with friendly inhabitants. A total escape. It is not a tourist spot but a quiet escape.
The remoteness means little amenities like restaurants and shops. Come prepared with some snacks and supplies. A large resort hotel and some smaller ones, along with homestay, but little else for the independent traveller

Great area - a little away from the hustle & bustle of other areas so it is quieter. The beach is beautiful, clean & quiet. Easy to get transport to other areas for more activity - close to backwater tours etc.
Only limitation is perhaps lack of eating out options within walking area, best to have hotel with restaurant otherwise will need to travel by tuk tuk or taxi.

The resort was a little too far away from the beach and the beach had no chairs, shade or umbrellas making it very difficult to stay very long. The surrounding area was not good to stroll around. The massage treatments are a 10 minute tuk tuk ride away and are quite expensive for India £34. We have been paying £15 previously.

I like very much all areas of Mararikulam, I think it is cleaner than other places. The beach is amazing and magical, people are very kind. it is a paradise on earth, unfortunately, my resort needs some restoration, especially rooms, and the swimming pool. Nature is really enchanting
I was in Seclude Marari sand resort, potentially the best part of the beach but the resort needs some work. It is quite expensive for the services it offers

Every day was special, a smile from our lovely housekeeper, restaurant staff went out of their way to keep our tea cups filled with a huge smile. Second holiday at Marari and looking forward to the next one. Lovely big room, nothing a problem. Thanks Marari
A beautiful place to stay, that is very close to the beach (just a couple of minutes). Dominic and his family are so kind and friendly. They all made us feel welcome (like a home away from home). Rooms are perfect and have lots of space, with private bathrooms, beds are comfortable - slept very very well. Breakfast was included, and we also ate dinner here too - delicious. We are already planning to come back. If you want to have a nice place to stay in Marari Beach, then stay here.
This beautiful and relatively new hotel is a real treat, with many design features that make it very special. They reflect the thought Joseph has put into making a space that feels luxurious yet homely. The garden is lovely, the pool too, but it’s the staff who are the real stars, doing everything they can to ensure guests are relaxed and comfortable. The chef’s skills deserve a huge shout-out as do the beds. All in all, a wonderful place to relax and enjoy Kerala.
The hospitality from the family are just so warming and friendliest so far in Kerala. Breakfast was great with local breakfast and fruits, which was delicious. I also ordered dinner and had on my porch which was also cooked a delicious dinner. The Homestay is just set back from the road so it is nice and quiet. Just a 3 minute walk to the best beach in Kerala. Great stay.
This is one of the best homestays I ever booked! Spacious room, a terrace balcony, a terrance kitchen, free wifi, beautiful surroundings, homemade Kerala food, Kayak ride to Marari beach, boat ride in Alleppy, (all arranged by Adam -the owner of the homestay ) and a host like Adam who tried every possible way to make your stay memorable. What more can one ask!
