With lovely decor and amenities, this property is a great choice for a couple or small family to enjoy Iceland. It´s has all you need :) This apartment is newly furnished,is clean and bright. Well equipped in best location in Selfoss ! It is fully licensed,certified by the Municipal health authority, Fire Department and the Chief of Police. Floor plan: Foyer, kitchen, washing machine, fridge/freezer, living room, sofa bed, TV/cable/WIFI, dining room, bathroom, shower/bathtub, bedroom, queen bed,big closet, desk, baby crib. 11% VAT is included in the price. Self accessible check in and check out. We take all major credit cards. No extra or hidden costs. You have access to it all!... Enjoy the garden in the summer ;) Friendly neighborhood. Selfoss is a beautiful town in southern Iceland on the banks of the Ölfusá river. It is part of the municipality Árborg. The Ring Road (Icelandic: Hringvegur) runs through the town on its way between Hveragerði and Hella. The town is located on the southwestern coast of Iceland, 50 km from Reykjavík and 80 km from International airport (Kef- airport) It is the major town and the administrative seat of the Southern Region. The closest towns are Stokkseyri, Eyrarbakki and Hveragerði. There are also buses that run between places on the south coast, with several stops in each town. Getting inn and out of Selfoss is really one of the main reasons for staying. It's so close to the rural heartland and tourism hotspot of of Gullfoss and Geysir), to Þingvellir National Park and and of course the capital Reykjavík. If you have a car, each of these can be very nice destinations for day trips. Little further afield, the rest of South Iceland lies ahead, with destinations like Vík and Kirkjubæjarklaustur, or the saga-rich landscape and is good day trip to. In Selfoss there are local taxi company is called Bifreiðastöð Árborgar a bus station and car rentals.

Location - SUPERB. In Selfoss it's easy to get around by walking or by a bike in the summer. Kronan supermarket is just on the end of our street. Further down, the road, Bonus supermarket and yet another bakery named Gudna bakery. Is self cooking not your thing? No problem - Menam the Thai restaurant is just around the corner, and Hotel Selfoss Riverside restaurant have a superb dining literally like on the same street even, but cross the road,also there is a local bar/restaurant and there's Subway and Dominos pizza next to it, in the same building is Selfoss cinema. Coffeshop Kaffi krús is next to Kronan litle further is restaurant Surf and turf. Local hamburger place Bullan is 30 sec walk and is also a takeaway. The Selfoss Public (heated all year round!) Swimming pool is in the center of town and within walking distance from all major shops and services as well as having ample parking. Inside the building there is a children's pool and an 18 meter pool while outside is a 25 meter pool, children's pool with 3 slides, wading pool, steam room, sauna and hot and cold tubs. On the upper floor there is a World Class fitness center.
