The apartment is suitable for 4 people with a double sofa bed for 2 and a bunk bed for other 2. It's located in a building named "La Grand'Ourse" at Cielo Alto that is on the upper part of Cervinia at 2150 meters of elevation, at km 1.8 from the village center. The apartment is on the 4th floor and from the balcony there is a spectacular view of the Matterhorn and the village center. The location is perfect if your main objective is skiing because the area is quiet and you can connect to the slopes either through a short off-piste trail or by bus. The bus stop is just in front of the building and it takes 5-7 minutes' ride to go down and 12-15 minutes' ride to come back. From the building there are two short off-piste trails: one is just connecting to the skilift "Cielo Alto" and from there you can go down to the main cable way station. In addition to the apartment there is a Ski Box on the ground floor and a garage to recover the car, if necessary. There are also a couple of restaurants at a walking distance.
The main activities that Cervinia can offer are skiing, free riding, trekking, climbing, mountain biking and playing golf.
The skiing network is huge with 2 subnetworks in Italy (Cervinia and Valtournanche) and 3 in Switzerland (Mattherhorn Paradise, Gornergrat and Sunnega). You can ski all around with one International ski-pass. The village center is located at km 1.8 from the building and it offers numerous restaurants and stores.
