The property was in the middle of Chianti Classico region. Lots of wineries and restaurants very close as well as being located near many must see cities in the region such as Sienna and San Gimignano. The countryside is absolutely beautiful. Anna, the host, was so sweet. Wonderful communication and she had many recommendations for places to go nearby. The historic apartment was very large, well stocked and decorated nicely. We could have used a second pillow for the bed, but we slept just fine for four nights (and didn’t ask for additional bedding). We did a winery tour and tasting with lunch. The tour was very interesting (the guide really knew his stuff) the wines were delicious, and the food that was served with each wine was outstanding. Much more substantial than a “light” lunch. We had a great experience!

The estate is in the heart of Tuscany, 19 mi from Florence and 22 mi from Siena. The property offers wine and olive oil tastings. Board games are available at reception, and you can also book a cooking class.
