The property was immaculate, affordable, and located with an awesome view of the Eisack Valley, Säben Abbey, and the villages above and beyond. Florian & Barbara are wonderful hosts, friendly & available to query on local points of interest. The breakfast they provide daily is scrumptious, with abundant options. Just an unforgettable time. Definitely in my book for future trips to Südtirol!!

Your hosts - the Schaller family Farmer Florian and his wife Barbara provide a cosy and familiar atmosphere at the Gschloierhof. On the Gschloier mountain farm you will experience peace and discover a real farm with animals you can touch. There is plenty to do, in the stable with the animals, in the field and in the garden with the berries, vegetables and herbs. And everyone takes care of the guests. Barbara is responsible for the well-being of the guests. She diligently cooks and spoils the guests with delicacies made from the farm's own produce. Daughter Sophia, 7 years young, and son David, 7 months old, always put a smile on our faces and keep us on our toes. Grandma Mali and grandpa Walter help out wherever needed. Their strength is also baking cakes. Grandma's cakes and doughnuts simply taste best!

The Gschloier holiday farm is located above the Eisack Valley in the village of Freins in Lajen / South Tyrol. Here, at 1000m above sea level, five comfortably furnished rooms await you. Nestled in green meadows and with a view of the famous Säben monastery, you can enjoy your days off to your heart's content. Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, let yourself be pampered and find your inner peace. Look out over the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites and enjoy the fresh mountain air. By the way: We have been awarded 4 flowers by the association "Urlaub auf dem Bauernhof" and attach great importance to sustainability. We heat with wood from our own forest and the solar and photovoltaic system provide us with hot water and electricity. That is unique!
