This 120 square meters apartment is located in a small square in the heart of the medieval quarter of Ventimiglia called Ventimiglia Alta. It is a very quiet area. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two balconies with an open view on Ventimiglia and the surrounding hills. There is fast wi-fi Internet and satellite TV. Bed sheets and bathroom towels are provided. The nearest beach is 450 meters away. Discounts for a 2-3 weeks stay.

Easy going man

The medieval quarter of Ventimiglia (città alta), is the second largest medieval quarter in Liguria along with Albenga, after Genoa. This part has beautiful churches and narrow winding streets where people actually live and is not ruined by modern cafe's bars and tourist shops. The città alta has a cathedral from the 12th century and wonderful views. Other historical buildings worth of notice are the Parliament Loggia (or Merchants loggia) dated 14th – 15th century with a double Gothic arch and Palazzo Vescovile with the 14th century wooden panel painting 'Madonna with Child and Angels' by Barnaba da Modena. The Aprosiana Library, founded in 1649, was the first public library of Liguria and preserves historically interesting and valuable manuscripts. A couple of hundred meters away from the old city there are the pebble beaches mostly free of charge and plenty of beachfront bars and restaurants. There is also a free of charge sand beach 15 minutes on foot from the house. A walk bridge above the Roja river divides the modern part of Ventimiglia from the old town. Every Friday there is a market with 500 stalls.
