Gorgeous resort in a spectacular spot out in the middle of nowhere, with a view of the Temple of Athena. Excellent restaurant in the resort with great service and wine. We upgraded to a larger room which was excellent, quiet, and with a view. Convenient parking. It's a short drive to the Valley of the Temples.

Terreforti Luxury Village is a beautiful modern hotel with the most welcoming and accommodating staff. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast each morning was always delicious and we had a fabulous dinner one of the nights of our stay. We are most thankful for the extra effort by Salvatore, Carmelo, Antonio and Giuseppe. We look forward to returning again!

Fabulous location close to the Temples. The gardens in the back are a lovely place to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
The breakfast is served in close proximity to the gardens and was one of the best we’ve had here in Sicily.

The hotel is very good, clean and in good location. The man in reception was a very nice person. He helped us where to park the car in the near and where to find a good restaurant. I recommend this hotel.

Unique location in the old part of town. Driving in the town is a challenge, and the host gave excellent directions on how to navigate. Check in was so easy. The breakfast was on the terrace with food served from a centuries old rooftop chapel. The staff serving breakfast was wonderful. What a unique experience!

If you like ancient ruins you will like visiting the Valley of the Temples near Agrigento. Agrigento itself was a delight to be in on a Saturday night. We had a great meal, wandered the street while people-watching, did a little shopping. Enjoyed the evening immensely.

An incredible city full of history that is impossible to absorb with only one visit. The Valley of Temples is breathtaking, and leaves a visitor in awe of its rich past. This is my second visit to Agrigento, but it’s never enough because there is so much to learn and appreciate here.

Agrigento has many historical places to visit e.g. the Cathedral and it is near by The Valley of the Temples. Food is good and the centre is cosy. Agrigento is a city to walk quite a few stairs and small alleys, be prepared to walk!!!
It is worth a visit!

We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace.
We liked the size of the room and the view from the terace. There was a refresment waiting for us (coffe, juice, water, small cake). Room was clean, nice smell. But we spent there a night in January and the heating was not working. I wanted to reheat by warm shower, but there was not enought hot water to even wash my hair. I was frozen and catch a cold over the night. The bed was very noisy with each small move. The window was oposite to a building, very dark inside. All I will remember is dark and cold room. Shell I add how long we were looking for a place to park the car in those tiny streets?
The property is a little bit out of the way, in the middle of a beautiful landscape. You will learn about life in a small village in Sicily. The rooms are extremely big and comfortable. The host was EXTREMELY helpful. We had an accident right before arriving and he helped us a lot improvising to fix the car and taking my grown-up daughters to the Scala dei Turchi while we were taking care of the car. THANK YOU! We had dinner at the family owned restaurant, which was crowded, where you get a LOT of food ;-) and which you reach by foot!
Our family has been traveling around Sicily for a week, staying at various places. By far, Barbara has made us feel the most welcome. She could not have done a better job as a host. Barbara suggested excellent recommendations for dinner and made reservations for us. Breakfast was a nice addition. Our room was spotless and had a panoramic view of the Valley of the Temples. The location was convenient to restaurants and retail shops. If we come back to Agrigento, we will certainly return to see Barbara.
« Luxury » is only in the name but not in reality… small studio and not an « appartment » (photos make you believe that there is a living room and a bed room… in reality the living room is just the entrance hall which is not private); extremly poor equipment - when the place is booked for 2 persons a minimum would be to have cutlery for 2…; cleaning is far far from being acceptable. We left the place one night before… we prefered to move and to enjoy sicily in another location, keeping its promisses…
The house is located in the historic part of Agrigento, a few minutes bus ride from the Valley of the Temples, the main tourist attraction. The owners were friendly and welcoming; they provided helpful information for my visit. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was superb and included a variety of food items typical in that part of Sicily; the owners also offered 'doggy bags' with breakfast leftovers for the visitors to munch-on later. Overall - a 'feel good' visiting experience.
The structure is beautiful, and set in lovely, peaceful surroundings on a hill slope. The spacious room had been fully refurbished in excellent taste; it was very new and modern, while maintaining touches of traditional Sicily. The bathroom was large, equally new, modern and had a fantastic rain shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. The room led out onto a terrace. The views were amazing.
We’ve found everyone in Sicily very friendly, and that includes everyone at all the hotels we’ve stayed at, but the welcome at Giafra still stands out. Friendly, helpful, generous and generally lovely. And the place is very comfortable and smart, well-appointed, with excellent breakfasts (with beautifully decorated cappuccinos). We’d stay there again very happily, and hope we will.
We had a booking in Agrigento but did not feel safe in the township so made a last minute booking for Hotel Villa Athena, a small luxury hotel set within an olive Grove in the valley of the temples. It was amazing from start to finish, customer focused, comfortable, amazing food and wine, and a front row view of the valley of the temples. I cannot recommend highly enough.
The host was super nice and helpful. The rooms are freshly renovated and designed beautifully. Everything was tidy and clean, room was spacious and finally a good sized shower in Sicily! Many amenities including excellent coffee and snacks, also there was a shared balcony space. Location was a couple minutes drive to Agriegnto. We had a great stay and great valu.
It is the best location we stayed in on our tour of Sicily. The host was very extremely kind to us and she made our stay extraordinary. The apartment is new and very clean and the view is directly towards the columns.
We recommend this location, don't miss it if you come to Agrigento!
Most wonderful family run accommodation. We were given so many great ideas to make our week in Sicily the most memorable. The location was prime, there was no issue with parking and the breakfast was amazing with the most beautiful view from the rooftop terrace.
The best hosting we had in Sicily, extremely nice and helpful host, big and very comfortable rooms, moreover there were radiators in the room, so it was pretty warm there.
The breakfast was super tasty and overall hosting was outstanding! We liked everything
Staying at this B&B is like staying in a museum. It's full of amazing art and antiques, and Francesco is a wonderfully warm and engaging host. Probably our favorite accommodations in Sicily, and made our stay in Agrigento very memorable! Thank you, Francesco!
Great location - easy drive to valley of the temples and short walk to the old town and restaurants. The host was so kind and helpful, and it was the best breakfast of our trip to Sicily. Exceptional gelato and very short walk away!
The hotel is very good, clean and in good location. The man in reception was a very nice person. He helped us where to park the car in the near and where to find a good restaurant. I recommend this hotel.
This place is the best among the five places we stayed when we visited Sicily. It is outside the city, but very convenient to the road and the archaeology parks.
The breakfast is healthy and awesome!
Breakfast was hands down the best we had in Sicily. So many options and staff/owners were fantastic. View was incredible, could see the ocean and the temples.
