The "Trullo della Luna" is a traditional four-cone Apulian farmhouse, once used only by farmers. The shapes of this ancient culture are now admired worldwide and are iconic of Puglia. Here, nature blends with a serene, human-shaped environment. I purchased this trullo when it was completely abandoned. As an architect, I saw it as if its dry stone blocks were the ruins of an ancient temple, and I restored it with great enthusiasm and love. We do have free WIFI! Currently you will see in this advertisement that there is not WIFI. The property is a detached unit and the areal signal may be faint. Having just the possibility of choosing 'yes' or 'not' in this website info, we preferred to set total absence of WIFI (problems concerning WIFI possibly made available do not constitute an adequate cause for a total or partial refund). We are working to improve this service but, in any case, let us suggest coming to this natural eden for a digital detox period. In particular if you have children!

About 20 km from the trullo, you'll find the Torre Guaceto Nature Reserve, an unspoiled stretch of coastline with beautiful, small beaches and crystal-clear waters. The park spans approximately 1,000 hectares of land and 2,000 hectares of sea, featuring around seven kilometers of pristine golden sandy coves, alternating with stunning promontories. Other nearby destinations worth exploring include Oria and Carovigno, as well as Ceglie Messapica, all home to beautiful ancient castles. You can also visit Mesagne, Manduria, Ostuni, Massafra, Castellaneta—the charming town where Rudolph Valentino was born—and Grottaglie, famous for its handmade ceramics. Additional recommended beaches are in the Gulf of Taranto, especially Campo Marino, Torre Colimena, and Punta Prosciutto, known for its marvelous white sands.
