Favourite place we stayed at during our Japan trip. Nely & her team are wonderful. This is a great boutique accommodation - the rooms, public area & garden are beautifully designed. Every detail was perfect. Our room was spacious & so comfortable. Easily accessible with plenty of eating options nearby including a famous soba restaurant.

Attention to details (e.g. heated floor in the washroom, jug of lemon water prepared daily, lightings and sockets), spacious and elegant space both in the room and in common area, and can stay the whole day in the house to enjoy the tranquility and greeneries from window, even though it is situated in an area just 15 minutes walk from the Kyoto station. Kyoto subway is only 1-2 minute walk from exit 1, Gojo station. Love the gift aperitif daily before diner. Breakfast is impeccable, wish I could find amasake yogurt back home too! Staff were all very cheerful, helpful and very patient, very willing to spend time that makes you feel extra care as a first time visitor. This place is great for couple / solo traveller who might be look for great discreetness.

お宿というより建物からお部屋の雰囲気もレトロで、どこか懐かしい感の素敵な空間でした。細部の部材、特にすりガラスや真鍮素材であったり、木材の建て付け（カーテンがわりの引き戸）や加工（手すりなど）も所々にこだわりが伝わってきます。自分の家がこんな空間ならとても居心地が良いだろうなぁと妻とも話をしました。良い旅の宿になったなぁの感慨深いです。
