Offering tranquil outdoor hot-spring baths with nature views, a Nakai-san personal attendant, karaoke, massages and sumptuous Kaiseki dinners, Yunominesou is a 10-minute walk from Tsuboyu hot spring, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The traditional rooms at Yunominesou Ryokan have sliding paper screens, floor cushions and Japanese futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Guests can relax in the Yukata robe or watch the LCD TV. All rooms include a toilet, an electric kettle and a fridge. The ryokan is a 10-minute walk from the beautiful Kumano Kodo forest path, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is 23 mi from JR Shingu Train Station and 33 mi from JR Kiitanabe Train Station. On-site parking is free. Guests can enjoy a game of ping-pong or billiards, or browse the gift shop. Two private hot-spring bathes can be used when it's available. A set-menu Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the property restaurant. Guests with dinner included in the rate must check in by 18:30 to eat dinner at the property. Guests checking in after this time may not be served dinner, and no refund will be given. There are no restaurants in the area, so dining at the hotel is recommended.

The fine print
Please note that it takes 4 hours to travel to the property from Kansai International Airport via public transport. When using public transport from Kansai International Airport, guests must catch the train departing at 14:32. Trains departing the airport at a later time will not take guests all the way to the property, as local transport will not be available by the time guests arrive in the area. The last train from JR Kii-Tanabe Station departs at 16:40.
If there is no public transportation between the ryokan and the nearest station due to weather conditions, etc., a free shuttle service will be provided. Call the ryokan from the station to use.
Guests eating dinner at the hotel must check in by 18:30.
Guests without a meal plan who want to eat breakfast and/or dinner at the hotel must make a reservation by 16:00 on the date of arrival.
Please note that children's meals are not included in the price of the room. A children's menu is available for children under 12 years of age at an additional charge.
Guests with tattoos may not be permitted to use the property’s public bathing areas or other facilities where the tattoos might be visible to other guests.
