Not only Bishkek but other wonderful places we've been.
Kok Moinok canyon, Chong Kemin village, Chunkurchak valley, Burana Tower, and Ala Archa National Natural Park.
These country is full of wonders and beautiful landscape.

The country has a lot of opportunities for tourists.
The country has a lot of opportunities for tourists. But need to improve with lot of facilities. What I noticed is lack of taxi service. Taxis have no uniformity; as such, a tourist cannot identify a taxi from a private car. There were no signs of a 'taxi' being provided. The taxi drivers we travelled with do not speak English, which made us very uncomfortable, but we used Google Translate to communicate. Need more supermarkets.
Bishkek is beautiful, very clean and the people are very friendly.

One of the best destinations where you can find great nature, mountains, waterfalls, and hiking within an hour from the city center, if not less.
If you have a few hours, you must visit the Ala-Archa Gorge, if you have a whole day but do not want to go far and physically not very prepared, then in Alamedin Gorge, there you can walk to the waterfall, an easy route, not hurrying for four hours in two directions.
It is obligatory to visit Diar cafe (Lebedinovka village), and it is in the express cafe where locals eat - one of the most delicious Lagman (as soup) in the city.
as well as Turkish cafe Duet (Kievskaya street) - Adana kebab, tombik doner or lentil soup.
Taxi around the city are not expensive, but you can get into serious traffic jams in rush hours.

A safe and interesting city in a beautiful country.
A safe and interesting city in a beautiful country. Plenty to do both during the day and at night. The fact that drivers are starting to respect pedestrians makes it safer than some other Central Asian states.

Bishkek is a wonderful city that makes you feel like you're still living and walking through the old streets of Soviet times. I went for 3 days while studying abroad in Kazakhstan in order to see the region and I was blown away by the history and culture.

I have been to Bishkek numerous times and never tire from it.
If one likes bazaars than one can not miss the Osh Bazaar.
It has real Central Asian atmosphere and is the best place for souvenirs.
There are lots of fresh fruits and dried fruits and nuts as well as great spices.
There are great museums and an old fashion amusement park in the center.
Bishkek is also the jumping off point for mountaineering and other outdoor adventures.
I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and was pleasantly surprised to see that hotel is taken care of and is well maintained. Rooms are clean and fresh. U dont have a feeling that its updated or dusty. Used spa and swimming pool. All was perfect! Had a lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food was really good. The only thing is that breakfast for 25 usd per person and on my opinion it is way to expensive for Bishkek. So we went to the Bellagio coffee nearby and paid only 1000 som, which is abt 12 $ for two and were satisfied.
Really well decorated and comfortable hotel, great artwork on the walls - was a real home from home for us during our time in Bishkek and we enjoyed returning to our room after a hard day exploring. Beds were comfy, shower powerful and hot.....place was really clean with lovely linens.
Staff were super friendly but not over the top and ordered taxi for us to the airport, breakfast was tasty and delivered in comfortable surroundings. Location is excellent. A true gem in Bishkek, I hope to stay there again some day,
The Nomad Inn is probably the accommodation with the best value for money in Bishkek. The room was large, almost too large, maybe it wasn't very luxurious but there were two comfortable beds and everything one could need, like a kettle, coffee cups, wardrobes with hangers, a hot shower, free WiFi, and the staff is very kind, so you feel welcomed. The room rate is what I wished more hotels would offer, finally I had found a hotel with acceptable prices. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in Bishkek next time
I was so surprised by this hotel - the photos don't do it justice at all. It's a really brilliant hotel with a great breakfast and very comfortable rooms. I thought it would be a dated, corporate style hotel by the photos but it wasn't like that at all. The price was similar to other hotels I stayed in in Bishkek which were far far worse, so it's very good value for money.
The property is located close to all of Bishkek’s main attractions. Within walking distance you can find shops and restaurants. The room I stayed in had a bathtub which was a plus and the hotel staff was kind enough to offer me a room with a double bed, even though I had just booked a single room. I highly appreciated that.
The rooms are fantastic and very big! We LOVED this hotel - the staff are so nice and kind. They helped us get taxis to and from the airport, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was delicious - so much variety and so much food! The breakfast cook was so kind as well. We loved it and we will be back!
Dormitory beds with privacy curtains, LED lights/socket. Lockers in the corridor. Marshrutka 380 to Bishkek. The hotel / hostel is 5 minutes walk to the #380 Begin/End stop.
(intersection Chuy ave/Jash Gvardiya Blvd), between 6.30am and 8-9pm. The fare is 50 som (0,5 euro)
It was a capsule hotel. I stayed during the world cup elimination round so it was fun watching the matches with everyone from a different part of the world. I was also there when PUTIN came into Bishkek and got to experience this. Good times in Park Bishkek drinking tea!
I visited Bishkek / Kyrgyzstan again and without hesitation booked this place.
Staff is amazing, everything is quiet and peaceful, very clean with great facilities. There are also two of the most cutest cats to make your stay more welcome.
Orion Hotel Bishkek is very well located along an elegant avenue leading to the city‘s main street (Chuy Prospect) and inside a complex that also houses several embassies. The rooms are as comfortable as you‘d expect from a four-star hotel.
Very nice hotel, good value for money , excellent location , and the best thing is they have free airport transfer. Also this is one of very rare hotels which have extra sofa bed for children.Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Very nice hotel in the city center of Bishkek. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean. Breakfast, dinner and drinks are available in the restaurant beneath the hotel for very fair prices.
Clean, comfortable, friendly hotel. Nice stacks and drinks in the cafe 24/7. Nice staffs, very comfortable bed and nice bedsheets. Reception managed taxi to the airport and it was so convinient.
Very nice mid-size hotel in a fairly good location in Bishkek. Rooms were very good, everything in good shape and working well, very good breakfast, helpful staff. Would recommend to others
I have sampled a variety of hotels in Bishkek over the years and Resident was a new option. The facility was clean, the staff attentive, and courteous, and the price reasonable.
The most comfortable bed and the best breakfast. It was the best hotel we’ve had in Kyrgyzstan. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay here on our outward journey.
Second time here, and I dare say that this is the best you can find in the city.
The hotel staff is really professional. It's a perfect stay for foreigners
