As a family we had our Room service dinner outside on the veranda. We will stay there on our return journey as well. Windhoek is the most beautiful , clean city with many lovely places to give you a taste and pleasant stay in Namibia. However, one bad experience such at poor customer service at Hilton Hotel can be a turn off for the rest of your stay. In fact you will forced to cut change for hotels if you came on a business trip and you could easily cut your holiday short.
There are many more hotels/places with good offer/value for money, better customer services and comfort stay. In my option, definitely not Hilton hotel. I booked out the next day and enjoyed the rest of my business trip in a cheapest hotel, good customer care in short small but might.

The people are very friendly and interesting to talk to. It is a big city with lots of interesting things to do and surrounding places to visit. It is very tourist friendly and has lots of divine places to eat. Jo's beerhouse is highly recommended.

Windhoek has a long colonial history, with interesting museums, galleries and landmarks. The natural history museum was my favourite.
The landmark German Lutheran Church, in the centre of town, is a wonderful place to visit.
It has too many restaurants to mention, but Joe's Beerhouse is the best. The variety of meats on offer, the atmosphere, the decor, absolutely everything is just so incredibly awesome! A MUST for any visitor to Windhoek.
One can easily get a cab, similar to Uber, called Lefa, which is extremely quick to respond and take you wherever you need to go.
Next time I would avoid being coaxed into taking a local taxi off the street, as the operators are mostly unreliable drivers and one can end up in dangerous areas such as the very poor locations.

Windhoek is a wonderful city, often regarded as one of the cleanest cities in Africa. The road infrastructure is user-friendly, and traffic is light, except during rush hours in the morning and afternoon.
Grove Mall provides many opportunities for great meals. We visited Rocco Mammas and Joe's Beer House, where the menus offer cost-effective and delicious options. If you prefer not to venture out, you can easily order traditional or international cuisine through a dial-a-meal app, which delivers freshly prepared meals to your doorstep.
In addition to shopping and entertainment, the mall offers a range of fitness activities. There is a Virgin Active gym just a stone's throw away, as well as excellent and safe running and cycling routes.
Casa Decha is a really amazing place to stay if you are in Windhoek. I stayed there almost a couple of weeks and everything was exceptional. The room was clean and stylish with its own kitchen. So you can cook and enjoy your meal. The staff was amazing and extremely accommodating. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable. All in all, I was very pleased with my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Windhoek and I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. Thank you.
I booked one of the tents they had on the property and it was very comfy (even providing a heating pad, because it was COLD outside!) and a way to lock my tent so that my stuff was safe. The staff and restaurant were great and Urban camp was centrally located in the city and nearby nearly anything you would need to start or end a trip! Would stay here again next time I’m back in Namibia!
Super nice apartment with all amenities you need for a nice self catering stay. Beautifull view over Windhoek especially at night. Beautifull garden with a patio for braii. Xlose to one of the large malls. Highly recomended.
Note that the flat is located high on a hillside so you need a car or taxi or be in good physical condition if you want to walk to shops, restaurants.
The hotel exceeded my expectations, it is modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The restaurant staff have great customer service and are ready to serve. I enjoyed my room - it was comfortable, spacious and had a beautiful balcony. There is a spa and restaurant on site which is convenient. It is close to town and central.
This is my fourth stay and I would not stay anywhere else before and after an epic Namibian Road trip. The loft rooms are fantastic and the courtyard bar, sky bar, steak house and cape town fish market on premise will make sure you are well nourished and refreshed. The only place I will stay in Windhoek. The staff is exceptional too.
This place was my home away from home, while staying in Namibia. Went around the country and everytime back in Winhoek, stayed there.
It's very nicely designed, the staff are very helpful, it's clean, has a bar, a little swimming pool.
The breakfast is excellent. They have a kitchen if you want to cook.
What else do you need?!
Fantastic location in Windhoek in a quiet residential section of town. The restaurant and terrace have wonderful views. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The dinner was very good. Breakfast had many selections. All and all a great stay at Hotel Thule. It exceeded our expectations.
Enjoyed the pool. The rooms were spacious with sitting room and kitchenett. Nice brai area shaded thatched tables near the pool. Ceiling fans in rooms made it comfortable.
Share a restaurant with Tans Kalahari lnn next door . Food was excellent. Little store near by ,no need to go into Windhoek.
CHecking in and getting into our room was great. THe room and bathroom were exceptionally comfortable and up to good modern standard. Dinner was terrible. Waited an hour, ordered Luederitz lobster. It was dry as a bone. But other meals may be much better. But the hotel stay was great.
New, modern and clean. The perfect place to stay after travelling from the UK to Windhoek. We needed a proper nights rest with good food and that’s exactly what was provided to us. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay at the beginning of a Namibian holiday.
The hotel is quite central. We could walk to the museum close by as well as the church, which gives you some insight into history of Namibia. The hotel rooms itself was quite spacious and have a nice skybar with a pool. Amazing sundowner spot, we got the best sunset photos.
Hotel in city center of Windhoek not far from shopping mall Maerua and Christuskirche (you can access them by walking). In morning you can order breakfast. Room is very big and have area for seating and working. Bed is very big and soft. Very big bathroom.
Best breakfast I’ve had in all my travels through Africa. A wonderful view of Windhoek. Really nice staff who attend to every need that I have. Beautiful swimming pool. Ideal place to begin and end your Namibia experience.
Fantastic facilities. Fantastic views of sunrise and sunset! Best views of the city!! Incredibly friendly staff who are very helpful!! Lovely hotel - good value! A must stay in Windhoek!
The host, Luis, was very accomodating of our needs.
The location is quite central with access to shopping, restaurants, museum and other touristic attractions within Windhoek
