We would like to welcome you to our romantic houseboat on the outside of IJ in Schellingwoude, Waterland. A wonderful place to recover after an inspiring day in the bustle of Amsterdam. The B & B is in the wheelhouse of our houseboat. We (me, my husband and sun) are living on the other part of the boat. Culture and shops in Amsterdam are easily accessible by public transport or by bike and there is a supermarket within walking distance. Supermarket / restaurant within walking distance of the B & B (100 meters). Overview of the facilities: Double bed, sink (hot/cold water), coffee en tea maker (coffeecups and teabags available), refrigerator, microwave, tableware & a small dinner table and sofa to relax. You will also find lots of information about the neighborhood. On request use of oven in our kitchen or even meal service (fifteen euros). Feel free to fix your own breakfast in the room or heat up a meal yourself in the microwave in the room. Let yourself be surprised in the winter by the overwhelming nature and the outdoors. Parking is free down the dike. A copy of your ID will be made at check-in. Contact us before you booking is final to discuss different options.

Our boat is located on a beautiful free spot on the water on the Buiten IJ in the increasingly emerging Amsterdam North. Wind, water, sun nature have free play here and yet the city is close. The perfect place for nature lovers who also want to enjoy the culture of the city life. It is a lovely and quiet place and offers many opportunities for beautiful walks and bike rides in the area.
