I wanted to treat myself to a nice hotel for an overnight stay not in the noisy parts of town, and also not overspend. I'm so happy I went with my gut and trusted the photos to pick Park Plaza Vondelpark for my short stay! Whoever did the interior design and equipped the rooms deserves a raise. Somehow the hotel provided the utmost functionality hiding in plain sight, as you focus on the charming décor instead. Many ideas add to the comfort, I loved the central panel to regulate lights and electronic curtains! I also found the bathroom door mirrored on both sides a really clever idea. The shower was very roomy, and the soaps and shampoos had the most addictive fresh scent. I also loved the carpet and wall colors, the subtle bird motifs and the tableware design for coffee and tea. Somehow this all was just the right amount of character and style and really came together. The room had a portable luggage stand tuck away in the closet, which was also quite clever to save space if you would not need it, but take out with ease if you would. They thought about you being on the move as well: public transport is close to take you to Amsterdam Centraal, and you can conveniently borrow an umbrella for 48 hrs for free.

The location is excellent, only a few minutes from the center, which made getting around easy. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel very welcome. Would happily stay here again.

Everything was excellent- customer service level, attention to details, room, view, room service, food quality and variety at breakfast.

The location is excellent, the service, close to tram, the staffs are very friendly, all other amenities are excellent.

The staff, the staff, the staff :) They are helpful, friendly, and genuinely enjoy their work. This is huge because the attitude of the staff can make or break a hotel experience. Plus, they are masters of the scrambled egg in a cozy breakfast area overlooking The Neighbor’s Magnolia tree 👍🏼 The atmosphere is charming casual, where good will flows in a welcoming, old style elegance. The location is ideal, with Vondelpark around the corner and museum district within walking distance

The location was excellent, you could walk everywhere and the room was faxing a park, so it was very quite.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and one of the biggest highlights was definitely the location. It was incredibly convenient—just a short walk to the parking garage, which made coming and going hassle-free. Even better, several museums were nearby, so I could easily explore the area without needing to travel far. The surroundings really added to the overall experience, making it a great choice for anyone who enjoys being close to cultural attractions. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel, especially if location and accessibility are important to you.

The hotel has a great location. The managers and staff are very helpful and attentive. We stayed in room number 5, it was a quiet, clean, beautiful room.

We love it! I confess that I was a little insecure when I read some comments about the hotel, so for me it exceeded expectations. The room was comfortable and even though the bathroom was shared, everything was clean. The very good location, with a beautiful view, with a TRAM station right in front, in addition to being very close to Leidseplein square. The city itself is very well organised with public transportation so it's easy to get around. And unlike some comments I read here, breakfast served us very well, with coffee, milk, bread, cheese, ham, jams, juices, cookies... we like it! The staff are very kind, they even kept our backpack after check out until it was time to leave the city. We will definitely return! Thank you, Hotel Abba. See you soon.

Food and coffee in cafe were excellent. Location for city centre, museums and places to eat and drink was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A very cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to get to with good connections to the rest of the city. Also easy to walk to the museum area. Lots of cafes and restaurants around for good food. Bring right on the park was perfect for a morning run, and it was nice not to be right in the center of the city. I loved walking around the neighborhood and admiring the houses. My room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, a kettle and even an unbrella! The candy and snacks in the entry were also a nice treat when I arrived back in the evening. Compared to the prices of other hotels, this was one of the cheapest (though still expensive!). But I loved staying here more than in the real center of the city.

It was a very cute and comfortable hotel. Easy to access with the tram.

Excellent location and delicious bedlinen and mattress (king) too. the more spacious room of the hotel was unavailable when i booked my 6-days stay , but after a few days the manager ( to whom i had asked for a bigger room if possible) upgraded us to the room we wanted as soon as it became available. Very nice.

Hotel is right next to vondel park which is very nice to grab a coffee and walk around in the morning Clean, modern and spacious room with complementary coffee and tea kettle. Bathroom was very nice Nice view of the cannal in a reasnably quiet area. close to lots of shops and cafes walking distance from tram 17, 2 and 24 which gets you everywherre AC was superb Friedly staff
