Hotel seems to be renovated recently and amenities are modern while we stayed for a day was a pleasent change from previous stays in Amsterdam. Its a quiet boutique hotel with a great entry into Vondel park as well connected to the Mueseum quarter .Of course the tarrifs being what they are in Amsterdam would still recomend it fr a couple visit to Amsterdam as has a nice cozy vibe with excellent staff.

A very cozy hotel in a fantastic location. Easy to get to with good connections to the rest of the city. Also easy to walk to the museum area. Lots of cafes and restaurants around for good food. Bring right on the park was perfect for a morning run, and it was nice not to be right in the center of the city. I loved walking around the neighborhood and admiring the houses. My room was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable. The room had a mini fridge, a kettle and even an unbrella! The candy and snacks in the entry were also a nice treat when I arrived back in the evening. Compared to the prices of other hotels, this was one of the cheapest (though still expensive!). But I loved staying here more than in the real center of the city.

Rent a bike to access this Manhattan Central Park-like park here in Amsterdam, Netherlands! There are atleast 2 Rent-a-bike shops within this park (along Overtoom boulevard). Lots of pocket gardens and lakes to sit and relax! If you have kids, this park also features a lot of public play areas and pool. Truly a gem within the city of Amsterdam

The location right by Vondelpark is fantastic. Having highly popular, quality cafes so close by is a major plus. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the museum area. The rooms are renovated and spotlessly clean. Staying in a historic building makes it wonderful for truly experiencing the Amsterdam atmosphere.

Location was excellent - didn't feel touristy, but we were very close to the tram which took about 10 minutes to get to central. Plenty of coffee shops in close vicinity and a 5 minute walk to Vondelpark. Room was cozy and clean, comfortable enough. Staff very friendly and accommodating especially regarding leaving bags for the day.

The location was amazing and the room was updated it wasn’t old and it was clean. The location is also very good you are like 5min away from a tram line ( which can get you almost anywhere) and you’re also 10min away from Vondelpark which is an amazing walk and a bus stops there that takes you to most museums. The location truly is amazing and very convenient and it’s very quiet so you can rest. The room was very nicely cleaned and the hotel itself is clean and very very cozy.

After spending five nights here in early April 2026, it became very clear why this property remains consistently popular with visitors who want to experience Amsterdam properly without relying too heavily on transport. The hotel sits right beside Vondelpark and only a short walk from Leidseplein, which immediately places you in one of the best areas of the city for restaurants, bars, nightlife and general atmosphere. For a first-time visitor especially, it is difficult to overstate how convenient the location really is.

The location was great, the neighborhood was a little quieter than other areas of Amsterdam and the proximity to Vondelpark is amazing. Lots of good food nearby, as well as transit options. The hotel was overall very clean and comfortable.

I loved the feel of this boutique hotel next to Vondelpark. The building was beautiful and had the feeling of a grand old home. The ceilings were very tall, and our room had a balcony.

The location was wonderful in the museum district. The room was quite large with table and 2 chairs available. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed the snacks from 4-7. We also enjoyed access to drinks , wine and beer which included. Since we stayed 5 nights we had a bag of laundry done no charge. We also made use of complimentary bikes. Sitting outside on the patio was great. The wifi was very good. The hotel was also close to Vondelpark that is a beautiful green space with paths to walk on and bike
