If you are interested in history Bergen Op Zoom has plenty to offer. Charming old buildings. Market squares where you can sit have drinks and a meal and take in the surrounding area. Cute little city with a bustling town square. We arrived on a Sunday and there were tons of people enjoying a sunny day. It's a beautiful city center - the side streets were interesting and it was a great place to walk around for a couple of hours. Only there for the weekend but will return as soon as we can. Had to cancel our booking 24hrs before due date as both my husband and I tested positive for Covid with several symptoms and our 2 friends were clasified as "case contact". Had a confirmation from the hotel via message service on Booking.com, incl. "price cancelled by property". However, several days later my bank informed me that 198 Euros were taken from our a/c via my card. No invoice/receipt and all messages or even access to messaging service to this hotel disappeared from my client page. Spoke to to the hotel this morning, Was promised a call back in 5 minutes.
