We loved the location of the house. It made it easy to walk to lots of great restaurants and bars. Also loved the back garden for some private outdoor space. The AC worked well. There were beach chairs and umbrellas and a (slightly broken but still usable) cooler provided for beach trips.
The host was responsive to questions and everybody we met in the town of Luquillo was so friendly. We would definitely come back!

Got jilted on a different booking. We were able to get this place 2 hours before we arrived. Talked to the agent on the phone, very positive conversation.
As far as the property goes, it was very clean, large, and had upgraded appliances and furniture.
This experience literally took a bad situation and made it a good thing.

Suprisingly nice blend of beach experience with the benefits of the local suburban community with the conveniences of grocery stores, gas, drug stores, etc. The local beaches are nice, Playa Luquillo and Playa Azul, have different feel, good beach experiences for north shore Atlantic Ocean side. The kioska at Luqillo Beach offer some good eats and drinks. This location is convenient by car to Fajardo, San Juan, and the Rain Forest.

We love Luquillo!
We love Luquillo! It is the best town and such an easy drive to Luquillo beach (and kiosks) and the wonderful El Yunque National Rainforest. We were glad to have a car, I don't know how we would have done it otherwise.

We stayed here after hiking in El Yunque and driving elsewhere the following day. We enjoyed a little bit of time on the beach, experienced the kioskos for dinner, and that was plenty. I didn't see much else to do in Luquillo other than that.
We love the location, it was exceptional, it's like having your private beach! Great space, showers in the back of the building made it easy to clean off the sand so you dont bring all the sand in your apartment. Having a washer and dryer was the best thing and the kitchen was very convenient so we don't need to eat out all the time! Exceptional views, short walking distance to bakery shop, restaurants, and short drive to outdoor activities. Very please with the apartment. Recommended.
Older hotel but very, very clean. Lots of room space. Very comfortable bed. The young lady operating the desk was both always efficient and pleasant. Great bonus to have use of free beach towels. Secured, gated parking next to rooms was another great bonus. Beach across the street was a bit rough on the days we were there, but it was as clean a beach as you’ll find anywhere, and just a short beach walk away to the west were calmer waters.

Staff is very professional and accommodating. The view from the back terrace is thrilling because the ocean surf crashes very close to the building. We found it a good location to base ourselves to visit the El Yunque National Forest and to Luquillo Beach and its numerous food kioskos. The room has a mini fridge, and there is a microwave available to use on the premises. Car was very helpful to get around.
Nice place. Lovely view. Spacious apt w high ceiling. Genuine location with local life, including chicken, dogs, cats, lizards in the street. A nice colony of pigeons resting on window sylls. Area feels safe. 4 min walk W to stable bar (great location, open day time) and beach (and stream), and 7 min walk E to beach towards Luquillo. Best spot on NE PR. Good host. Stayed 17 nights. Would return.
A digital travel guide was provided by the owner for activities in the area, such as how to visit the rainforest, about 10 different beaches around was proposed for different purposes... also other activities was suggested in the document such as bio bay, it's an concierge service but for an family room.
Love the fact that the room is located in the nature, inside the forest.
This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed hands down. The hostel is literally at the beach and you can take surf lessons from the staff and rent Kayak and paddle board to have some adventures in the river that starts from the hostel. This is the heaven. Affordable and awesome.
Excellently located overlooking Luquillo beach and just 5 minutes from the popular Luquillo local street food kiosks and pastry shops. The property has espectacular ocean views it’s fully renovated with all the luxury amenities of a high end hotel at a very reasonable price.
Carmen was a nice host! Me and my friends are from Carolina, bayamon and aibonito and wanted to stay over in Luquillo. We were happy to be the first to stay at the place! It was relaxing and calm! The beach was a few steps away.
The hostel was right near the beach and mouth of the river. It was a short walk to downtown Luquillo. There was a cabinet in the room where I could lock my belongings. However; I did need to bring my own lock.
It was right off main street and easy to find. The view. It was quiet and safe. Secure. Close to El Yunque and walking distance to the famous Luquillo kiosks and restaurants. Close are pharmacies and supermarkets.
It’s got this incredible cozy vibe with both stylish interiors, proximity to the nature and also amazing staff. This place really adds to the feeling of paradise here in Luquillo!
The location near Luquillo beach (and a big grocery story, Amigo, less than 5 minutes away across the street) and the nearly 360-degree views of beaches, water, and mountains.
