Very helpful staff.
Clean room, everything worked well.
The highlight was the breakfast. Wonderful choice with everything from fresh fruit, cereals, cooked breakfast, selection of breads and pastries. The hotel is under the same management as a highly successful bakery next door.
WiFi worked well. Parking outside the hotel.
Good location for coastal walk and travelling North-South along the coast south of Lisbon.

It was clean simple room with nice decorations and vibe. It was better than I imagined for the price. The breakfast was nice and the place was quiet and clean. There are no extras like chair or TV's in the room but perfect for a one night stay to the area.
Surrounded by the green hills of Aljezur, this 4-star hotel is 1 km from the Aljezur Castle. Featuring access to an outdoor swimming pool, the hotel is located within St Vincent's Coast Natural Park.
Small and peaceful, this hotel is a great place to relax and explore the sandy beaches of Costa Vicentina Natural Park. It offers an outdoor pool with a spacious sun deck.

The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable with the best bed linens and towels we'd had on our Rota Vicentina trip so far. The Moroccan decor was interesting and different from other places we'd stayed in. The pool area seemed to be a work in progress as it was early in the season but we still enjoyed the lounge chairs and sun. The breakfast which was included was extensive and delicious. The staff was helpful, assisting us to book a taxi to our next destination (day off hiking).

One of the best hostels/guesthouses, I‘ve stayed so far. The place is just really cozy and peaceful. The people there were amazing. Looking forward to come back sometime :)

The hospitality and communication from the host were fabulous. Sofia answered any questions I had promptly prior to our arrival. The room was exceptionally clean and the homely touches were most welcome. The breakfast was well catered and gluten free items were not an issue. We particularly enjoyed the rural feel to the location and the animals at the property were gorgeous and included horses, dogs and chickens. There was also a playground for children as well as a pool so this was a very family friendly place as well.

Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. In the evening, in Aljezur, always book ahead a table.

A magical small village with tiny streets and houses, nice restaurants The river is full of life, edpecially dozens of turtles sun bathing. the beaches are close and the castle above the city gives a nice overview although it is just a ruin.
nice massage at “em boas maos“ at the other side of the river in the new part of town.
there is also a nice walkway east of the castle directly below with benches to rest and look over the whole village and countryside.

We hope to return.
We hope to return. The presence of an active cultural life was important for us. We felt like we were in a town and region alive and not just a tourist setting.
By the way, asking these questions in English also, would be helpful.

What I liked is that it is truly a get away from the busier touristy parts of Portugal. What I didn't like is that google maps has its location for a national park located in the middle of a farm that has sand on the surrounding roads that are easy to get stuck in.

If you want to explore the west coast of Portugal Aljezur is a good choice for a stop over. We travelled from the south and beaches we visited on our way were spectacular. Going North this morning it was equally as good.
We spent one wonderful and relaxing week in the casa alva. Our apartment was very clean and well equipped. The location is very quiet, as it is in the middle of a nature reserve. We barely heard civilisation noise, only nature was present. Our host Francesca made a perfect job. Her breakfast with all the local products was very rich and tasty. Even a five-star hotel couldn’t do it better. She was also very helpful and gave as some good restaurant recommendations and ideas for other activities. A real insider tip in the Algarve!
This place is absolutely magical. Alvaro is a gem. The landscape is gorgeous, the villas are comfortable and clean and modern, the animals are sweet and the breakfast was amazing. We had a wonderful time relaxing by the fire, enjoying the sunset over a glass of wine, enjoying breakfast on the patio, watching the horses and peacocks and playing with the dogs. It's easy to access beautiful Arrifera beach and the nearby town has a few restaurants and shops (you'll need a car). We can't wait to come back!
The property is located near Aljezur, with a stunning sea view. The rooms are beautifully presented and very clean. We went in winter and the fire was ready for us to light it come evening - which we did. The place felt very private, a real getaway.
The owner was very friendly and personable. We felt truly welcome.
Finally, we enjoyed the company of various pets. They came and checked us out on our terrace and sat with us for a while.
Emmanuel showed me the place and was extremely friendly and helpful. Answered questions I had and even came to the rescue with a phone charger when I lost mine. The hotel consists of different rooms (mine had a balcony), a shared kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. Everything is clean and there is plenty of room. It’s a very short walk to several restaurants by the church, which is one of the central points in town.
A stunningly designed hotel that sits harmoniously in the surrounding countryside with expansive views of the Atlantic. The food and wine is locally sourced and top notch. The staff is as genuine and pleasant as you will find anywhere. The spa is impeccable with multiple pools to choose from. You’ll feel like you’re in another universe, albeit one that also serves an excellent breakfast.
Very relaxing location, each evening an activity idea was left in your room for a walk/nearby drive. The rooms were completed with high quality finishes and very clean. The pool area was fantastic with bar service to your sun loungers. The bar at the hotel was great and they could make any drink you wanted. The breakfast was also really good.
The breakfast is really great and the beds super confortable. The bathroom was brand new.
The "hand made" decoration is amazing and contribute to the nice atmosphere of the hotel, together with the friendly and helpfull and easy going staff.
Large garden around (nice for kids and 4 legs friends) and padel court next conner.
It is an eclectic & charming little hotel in a quiet area of Aljezur. It was a delightful stop on this section of our Rota Vicentina journey.
My husband & I were warmly welcomed by staff and they kindly allowed us to keep our bags for several hours before check-in. We liked it enough to stay a second night.
Walking the Fishermen’s Trail I couldn't get accommodation in Aljezur town. This was the most economical option, although it was a taxi ride out of town. I was able to meet the trail about 2kms away near a camping ground so didn't need to back track into Aljezur.
Perfect stopover for the Fisherman's Trail - the host even makes soup for the colder evenings. Highly recommended because of easy location, nearby supermarket, host responsiveness and clean spacious rooms.
This hotel is located on a very busy road and next to a gigantic supermarket. Despite this location, our room was quiet and clean. The staff are great and work very hard to make guests comfortable.
Friendly welcome. Good sheltered parking space. Nice little terrace area. Good breakfast. Good restaurants across the road. Handy location to explore nearby coast.
Beautiful house, amazing atmosphere. Ludo the host was super friendly and helpful. Best hostel near Aljezur and Arifanna. Totally would come back again.
